Good day ear mates! So for this weeks #wednesdaywalk post sponsored by , I decided to tell you about my sunset evening walk in Nizhniy Novgorod city along embankment of Volga river.
So first of all I want to say that in the city my walk became accidental and was not planned by me at all. But it happened so that my way home this day ran through Nizhniy Novgorod, where I had to stop to fill up the car and take a break. And then, having refueled the car, I decided to stop for a rest near the shopping center, next to which there is a wonderful cafe on the Volzhskaya embankment.
And after having dinner in a cafe, I went to the embankment and saw a wonderful sunset.
The rays of the setting sun cut through the storm clouds and passed through the railway bridge that crosses the Volga. However, I decided to go in the opposite direction, and I think it was the right choice.
So walking along the embankment, I saw how the locals spend their time, someone rode boats and yachts, someone on jet skis. And all this happened despite the fact that it was a weekday.
Separately, it is worth noting the graffiti depicted on the slopes of the embankment. Below you can see couple examples of it.
Also, going further, I saw how beautifully the rays of the setting sun illuminate the Kremlin located behind the bend of the river.
And the ship which was preparing to sail from the pier.
In the photo below you can see another bridge that connects the banks of the rivers at the place where Oka river flows into Volga.
From the Volzhskaya embankment, I moved further east to look at the newly erected stadium.
Then, moving a little from the embankment, I saw how a traveling circus was giving a performance under the open sky. I thought that the show would end soon as the sun had already set below the horizon and it was getting dark outside. And as it turned out later, he was right. The performance lasted about another 20 minutes. And when it ended, a farewell salute soared into the sky.
After the salute, I moved back to the car, because there was still a long road ahead of me to get home. But that's a completely different story...
