Today I want to remember the amazing moment when I visited, I think, the most beautiful place in Croatia.
I can say that I discovered paradise here, even after a few hours of exploring I didn't get to see every corner, believe me this place enchanted me.
To get here there are several possibilities, I arrived here by car after a trip of about 6-7 hours, because it was the best way to visit this place.
Exploring this nature reserve we did before the pandemic came upon us when we were not yet so restricted, even then the place was full of tourists.
I was a bit nervous about parking my car because I couldn't find a parking space, there were a lot of coaches, but in the end with the help of the employees there I managed to find a parking space.
The entrance ticket was quite expensive about 150lei/30euro plus car parking, but worth it.
I was lucky that I didn't have to wait too long in line at the cashier and something very important I was able to pay by card, because from my experience so far I have encountered many places where I couldn't pay by card.
From the moment you enter the park, you are amazed, the place is a paradise, the access paths are paved with a kind of cubic stone, everything very organized and very clean.
As far as I know Croatia has several national parks but the National Park where Plitvice Lakes are included is the largest.
At one point I had a sore throat from so much movement because I didn't know where to look, there are so many lakes and so many waterfalls, some of them really spectacular.
Do not forget the price of the ticket includes the ride on a beautiful boat, also in the case of the boat ride the feeling is unique, in the place where you take the boat on the lake you can see ducks swimming and in the water like crystal you can see thousands of fish.
If you are thinking of visiting the park, don't forget to get up early in the morning and to be there from the opening so that you can visit the place in peace and quiet, if you arrive later hundreds of tourists gather and can create crowded areas and you can no longer enjoy these places.
It's worth noting that you can't fly a drone here (it's forbidden), but instead charge your phone battery and take an extra charger with you and get ready to take your best photos.
In case you get hungry inside the park we found a restaurant serving very good food.
