Huta Slavia, let's turn the clock back more than 200 years and stay there for a few moments
Hello travellers from all over the world
I hope you are well and I can't wait to discover through your posts amazing places around the world, where maybe I can reach only by thought and for that I thank you for existing and bringing closer to me the places I dreamed of.
If in the last post in the community of photo lovers I exposed through pictures only a small part of what Huta Slavia offers us (I shared with you pictures of the restaurant inside) today I want to step together into the magical world of this place and try to go back 200 years ago when these places were mostly occupied by Slovaks, to get acquainted with the life they led, their traditions, religion, culture and much more.
If you visit this place you should know that it is divided into several areas, the lake area (it is beautiful, we spent many fantastic moments on the lakeshore), the water mill, the distillery, the old wooden houses and the newly opened glass museum, you can imagine how many hundreds of years old attractions just in one place.
As I wrote in the last post, Huta Slavia is located in Bihor county, actually at the border between Bihor and Salaj counties.
If you come here by car you will definitely find a parking place, since the first steps on this property you will be amazed at how beautiful this place is.
The place is well organized, there are plenty of signs to the main attractions so rest assured that you will not miss anything, besides these attractions here you will also find a place for children to relax.
Let the exploring begin, come with me
Before stepping back in time I would like to show you the children's playground, what you say is nice.
Have you ever seen the wooden scooter?
Let's go inside
I'd like to introduce you to the lake area, a beauty, from some I've seen you can rent hydrobikes to ride on the lake.
An impressive catch from the lake.
I forgot to tell you a very important detail, if you are a customer of this place to visit these places you do not have to pay anything, it is free.
Let's go further and visit the very old houses that have been refurbished to be visited, here we will be able to see very old objects that were used in people's households at that time.
I'm very curious if any of the objects photographed by me are familiar to you or if you even had them in your household (those of you who are older).
Each house has an information panel on which is listed what that house was at that time.
For example, this was the carpentry workshop.
These objects were part of the weaving workshop.
Let's go on to visit the cold pressed oil mill, something fantastic how they were able to produce oil without chemically processing it.
Container full of sunflower seeds, ready for a demonstration.
Let's see what a water mill looked like, which the villagers used to grind corn or wheat for flour to make bread.
Just at the entrance to the Water Mill you will find a shop where you can buy many traditional and very tasty products, but the best are the dishes made by the housewives there, rainbow on the palate.
Let's see what else we find in the area, wow, we found a bar made in a hundred year old wheat threshing machine.
My dear followers and visitors I stop here I hope I managed to delight your eyes with this place that we discovered by mistake, hehe.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
