Let's discover together the world of animals at the Zoo in Budapest, Hungary
They say the most dangerous animal in the zoo is Man. Yann Martel
Hello everyone
I hope you are well, in Romania the cold has come and it is not really a good time for walks but only if you are passionate about winter sports otherwise you find work sitting at a tea by the fireplace.
Today I want to tell you how we got to Budapest Zoo, some impressions and recommendations, I must admit that I am not a fan of visiting zoos in general, but where I see that the animals are respected, are well cared for, are properly fed or have places big enough not to suffer, I go with pleasure.
Let's go on a safari through one of the oldest zoos in the world, opened somewhere around 1866, an amazing attraction for all ages but let's see where it is located.

Coming here by car we had a bit of difficulty in finding a parking space, we had to leave the car a few blocks away, but everything was fine especially as parking is free on weekends.
We took it at a slow pace until we arrived in front of the entrance, here we were greeted by a machine where we selected how many tickets we wanted and paid by card, great thing, also at the entrance we received a free map of this garden so as not to you wander through the same places, the zoo is huge, now that I've been there I say you need a whole day to see everything, and if you come with children you need even more time to enjoy with the children the presence like many animals there.
When we arrived there were not so many people at the entrance, so we did not have to stay long, besides we noticed that since the entrance here is very green, many trees a great diversity of plants, even has a botanical garden, and if you follow the map you received at the entrance you can not get lost.
Here we find a great diversity of animals, I won't introduce you to every animal here because it would take me a few hours, but I can tell you that they have here horses, elephants, giraffes, camels, dromedaries, lions, gorillas, orangutans, kangaroos, zebras, pelicans, antelopes, crocodiles, flamingos, monkeys, baboons, rhinos, goats, hippos, eagles and many others, in fact they are extremely many and extremely beautiful.
If you come with children you will find special playgrounds or you can take a ride on a train.
We continued exploring the different areas here passing by some very friendly camels on our way we also saw giraffes but we came across a very large rock, initially I thought it was real but as I got closer I noticed that it was not, here we came across eagle country, wow, we came across dinosaur eggs and we even saw dinosaurs, brrrrrrrr.
Somewhere on the side of this rock you could see some sheep with manes and a few families of baboons, where by the way you could climb to the top on some stairs arranged to have a view of the zoo from above.
After a few hours of exploring the zoo we were a bit hungry in the sense that we were lucky that inside the garden there was a nice place where some welcoming people were preparing food, we were attracted by some pizza prepared by them and baked in a wood oven, my god, how good was the pizza, next to the wood oven there were some red pots with different pizza sauces, a culinary delight.
We left for last the visit to an aquarium filled with thousands of fish of all kinds, amazing marine life and the piece de resistance as I consider it was the flamingo birds, a lot of flamingo birds.
