Romanescu Park, let us be carried away on the wings of the Venetian Ball in Craiova, Romania part. II
Hello travelers
In my last blog I introduced you the biggest green expanse in Craiova but also in Romania (if you haven't seen the blog yet you can see it here), so today we will go for a walk in the park again but after dark.
One of the reasons why we visited Craiova was to visit the biggest park in Romania and also to go there after dark because the organizers promised a show never seen in Romania.
We spent the day discovering Craiova on foot, then we had something to eat and for a few hours we retired to the hotel to rest a bit (we were together with our seven-month-old son).
Ready, we're ready to see live what the park looks like after dark, the online environment has effectively exploded with images from here, so let's see reality versus online.
The people at the hotel hearing that we wanted to go to the park advised us to go a little earlier to get a good spot to see the projections (we had no idea what to expect), so to save time we called a BOLT (taxi) to take us to the main entrance.
The bolt driver told us that our order was for the main entrance of the park, but he advises us to take us to a secondary entrance which is not so crowded, honestly the people in this town seemed very nice, and it was a very good decision, even so the park became crowded.
Before I go any further, let me tell you what's going on here in the middle of the park and why I'm here. After dark, around half past eight, holographic projections and parades of special gondolas take place in the middle of the lake.
Before the show at the lake started we took a walk in the park, in the area with a very good view of the screenings there were already hundreds of people sitting on the grass and there was no point in crowding there, so we took you with us for an evening stroll in the park.
The park is spectacular, honestly, it's much more beautiful in reality than what I've seen on the internet.
It is so beautifully lit that I felt like I was in a dream with princesses and princes, tell us, how do you see these lighting ideas.
Finally the clock tells us half past eight and slowly the show is getting more and more interesting, in the park we could only hear the music played by the Craiova orchestra (classical music), something that cannot be described in words, I was really impressed.
Unfortunately we didn't see the holographic projections very well because of our position in the park, but the gondola show was fantastic.
My dear visitors we have reached the final point of today's blog, I hope you will like this second part of the park Romanescu (Craiova), do not go far away because there will come a few more blogs with interesting places here in Craiova.
THE END!
