The mysterious Louvre Museum(Musee du Louvre) and the Glass Pyramid in Paris

Hello travellers from all over the world
We're just a short weekend away, do you have any plans this weekend?
When visiting Paris, there are some very important sights that are known around the world, so today we will visit one of them with you, namely the Louvre Museum.
Each day of exploring Paris begins in the Sartouville area where we take the 272 bus and then take the metro (M1) to the Palais Royal Musee du Louvre station, from here we start our foray into a fantastic world.
As you can see we use a lot of public transport in Paris, so when we arrived in Paris we went to the first metro station we could find and took a pass (navigo RER-M-T-BUS) for 10 days on all public transport (I warn you what it says on those ticket machines not to buy tickets from people offering to sell you tickets, because you will pay a much higher price than the real one).
To gain access to the Louvre, you can buy tickets online or directly from the ticket office.
Not knowing for sure that we would get to visit the museum today we chose the second option of buying tickets directly from the ticket office.
Since I took the first steps towards the museum I was speechless looking at the architecture of the buildings, after a few minutes of staring the amazing glass pyramid appears through a gang, I can only say wow.
Have you visited Paris and the imposing glass pyramid before?
Since the first steps towards the pyramid I met a lot of people, I think everyone was visiting Paris at that time, at first glance it seems that access to the entrance was directed by some corridors (this is a good thing not to create chaos and crowds).
We lined up and waited quietly to get to the entrance to the museum ticket offices, we were so excited to have the opportunity to visit the biggest museum in France and even in the world, from the reviews we read on the internet we deduced that the museum is so big that we can't visit it all in one day, let's start exploring to see if what we read in the reviews is true.
Our turn came at the ticket office (to our surprise we didn't have long to wait), the price of an adult ticket was 15euro/person, the lady who sold us the tickets also gave us a map of the museum (Even the lady at the desk told us that we didn't have much chance to visit the whole museum today.) which will help us to explore the most hunted areas of the museum (I'll tell you later why I wrote the most hunted areas), the museum can be visited every day between 09:00am-18:00pm except Tuesdays when the museum is closed.
We start to explore/visit certain areas, but the problem is that all of Paris must have wanted to explore the same areas, so the museum is divided into three areas SULLY,RICHELIEU and DENON, in these areas you can see works of art (some extremely expensive) Egyptian, Roman, Greek, many sculptures, you will certainly not get bored because the museum houses over 350000 exhibits, hence the conclusion that the museum cannot be visited in one day (even if you run through the museum).
From the information we found on site, we learned that at the base of the Louvre is an old fortress, and that construction of the museum began in 1546 and officially opened 247 years later.
If you are interested in some of the pieces exhibited here I can tell you that all exhibits have an information panel written in several international languages (English, Italian, Spanish).
I will not insist too much on the exhibits here because I must admit that I do not know and I am not an art critic to give my opinion about them, but I will share with you pictures of some art objects, paintings, sculptures, statues, do not forget to tell you the museum is located on several levels 0 , (0), (-1), -1 (here is the exit of the museum).
After a few hours in the museum we got hungry so we didn't have much alternative but to buy some food inside the museum, here we found a place where we got some packed sandwiches (very tasty) and a mineral water.
We're energized to visit the most sought-after place in the museum, the room where Leonardo da Vinci's unfinished Mona Lisa/Gioconda is displayed.
Wow, so many people queuing inside to see and have their photo taken with the famous Mona Lisa I've never seen before, but here too we saw exemplary organisation, with the same corridors specially laid out to avoid any disturbance, the room was under video surveillance, we noticed that presence of guards (it was the only place where we saw guards present), and the painting is protected by bulletproof glass, also in the museum we can see important works of art such as the Code of Hammurabi or Venus de Milo by Eugene Delacroix.
I can really appreciate the Louvre for organising the visit of Da Vinci's work, even though it was very crowded, I managed to pose and be posed with the work.
That's it, we continue our exploration of the museum with another highly visited area, namely the turned pyramid in the museum.
I remembered if somehow you are fascinated by this museum but you can't get here, I tell you that you can visit it from your home in a virtual tour, I leave the link here
And in this place we stayed long enough to take some pictures of the turned pyramid, the place was like an ant hill, but finally we managed to take some pictures.
In conclusion I can say that the Louvre deserves its praise, it is the biggest museum I have visited (not for nothing they say it is the biggest in the world), it is true that it cannot be visited in a day (I think not even in a week), it's not the only museum that bears the name Louvre, there's another Louvre in Abu Dhabi (I haven't gotten to visit this one yet), rumor has it that a ghost haunts the museum (admittedly, apart from the crowds of people in the museum I haven't noticed anything strange).
Dear explorers of the world I stop here today, I hope you enjoy your visit to the Louvre, if you ever get to Paris feel free to plan a visit here.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone, and the text is also designed by me.
