Hello Hivers. It’s me again ^^. As my said in my first introduction, there will be some writings that I continue to write about my 5-months journey in Myanmar with a lot of joy and memories. Today's post is the part 1: The beauty comes from the simple things. So let’s start and follow me, guys!
After a long flight transited in Bankok, Yangon city was the first place I landed in Myanmar at night. You know, I was a little shocked because Yangon city is very different from the picture that I had painted in my mind.
As a matter of routine, I quickly found out the exchange counter to get some Myanmar Kyats then bought a Burmese phone sim to make contact with others before leaving the airport, getting on the bus and reaching to Thanlyin (As a main port city of Myanmar, it take 1 hours to move to Thanlyin from Yangon City, go cross the Bago river by Thanlyin bridge which was built in 1993).
In the first morning in Thalyin, the crucial thing I did is go for a walk around Thabarwa village where adopting and helping the poors in their hour of need. Thabarwa is also known as the sanctuary for all people who seek shelter and practice meditation with Sayadaw and other yogis. Before moving here, I had to ask the letter of introduction from Thabarwa office then got a 3-months visa after 15 days waiting for.

Everything here is completely strange to me from the people to scenery. This village is like an island of dogs; they could put themselves everywhere and slept through a hurricane one.
I came here on the summer season,no wonder why I saw Bouea Macrophylla fuit which we often call "Thanh Tra" by Vietnamese language here. The joke is that this was the first time I tasted the sweet to sour in flavor of this fruit, same as mango. They often harvest fruits in the summer season when the skin turns out yellow and it is often removed when eating the raw fruit.
On the way to go cross the flea market, shopkeepers looked at me very oddly like an alien from the Mar, they gave me a friendly smile, asked me to drop by their counter by their native language.
The original counter lay-out created an interesting and eye-catching photograph. For instants, instead of aranging the bunch of banana on the case as usual, they use a long rope, tie each bunch of banana in front of the shop with a price tag “1$ for one bunch”. To support him ( banana shopkeeper), I took one for me and one for my friends. “Chay-tzoo-tin-bah-the”, he said, It means thank you so much.
After saying “Tat-ta” (means good bye) to him, I was going right pass the egg counter where there is a really pretty woman. Because of her smiling to me and her puring beauty, I was so indeed deeply impressive that I pointed at my camera implying “would I be able to take you a photo, sister?” She nodded her head with her smile turned into a grin then posing with eggs.
People from young kids to grandpas at the market walked over to me with their irrepressible curiostity. There were some children buttonholed me, they alluded that they want to be like that as the lady sells eggs. That was a great moment for me to take a lot of pictures with other’s permission.
Goodbye the market, I went back to my room with my hands are full of stuff when suddenly I felt that someone was looking at me with whistling. It turned out they are motobike taxi drivers on the other side of the road waving me using their service.
It was hard for me to keep a straight face, I had nothing to say without shaking my head constantly like a robot. Wearing a helmet when joining the traffic is optional here. But for the sake of yours, I think you should take one for sure. Lol.
The final thing I want to show you on this post today is jars which are laid on the pavement for everyone who needs the free-water. I often brought my ewer to take water from it because it is not only the freshness but also the great feeling after drinking. One should try it one more time ^^.
More exciting stories will be mentioned in the next posts. Thank you all for your time! ^^
