While exploring Magnetic Island this Bay would have to be my favourite!
The white sand and the rocky edges make for a picturesque landscape.
We first spotted this bay from the fort hike. And said wow we have to spend a day down there!
Access is cut off from vehicles unless you're a resident and have a key to the gate. So you park up at the fort hike car park then make your way down the road to Arthur Bay.
It's about a 15 minute walk from the car park to the beach. And once you get here wow!!
This secluded beach is perfect with nice and calm water.
The best part is there is an amazing reef that is home to coral, hundreds of fish, reef sharks, and a turtle or two.
So a quick 10 meter swim out from shore and you can explore this under water world.
This under water coral landscape is so beautiful, and when you pop your head out of the water you are greeted with granite rocks and pine trees.
Even though the visbility underwater wasn't the best we still had a blast!
Amongst the rocks Renee spotted a epilete shark... But on closer inspection it was actually two eplilete sharks mating π
So here we were, in Arthur Bay on Magnetic Island snorkeling on a reef Renee watching while I was filming two sharks doing their thing haha.

Boats anchor up here for snorkelling tours and just to relax.
So for an awesome day relaxing on the beach and snorkelling amongst the coral.
Make sure you add Arthur Bay to your places to visit during your stay on Magnetic Island.
As always, happy travelsπ
