Hoy les comparto mi visita a la iglesia Virgen del Valle, ubicada en la Avenida Perimetral Aristides Rojas, esquina con la calle Bermúdez. Esta iglesia destaca por su diseño, inspirado en los chalets alemanes. Se diferencia notablemente de los chalets tradicionales, con torres laterales, una nave central, una fachada triangular y una singular torre que recuerda a un obelisco. De hecho, la iglesia está compuesta por varios chalets unidos para crear una estructura cohesionada.
El techo también es triangular y en la fachada se aprecian la puerta, el obelisco o campanario y, más allá del perímetro, la puerta principal, formada por varias hojas, que da acceso a la iglesia. El interior es muy hermoso; el suelo es de granito y las paredes combinan líneas y coloridas vidrieras. Se puede apreciar la forma del techo, las vidrieras y los murales que adornan la iglesia. Cuenta con cuatro columnas de bancos blancos. El día de mi visita estaban ensayando, así que para no interrumpir la actividad, me quedé en la parte de atrás y di un breve paseo, evitando así molestar. El diseño interior es llamativo y colorido, combinando hermosos colores y figuras geométricas como rectángulos, trapecios y hexágonos, entre otros. Me sorprendió la cantidad de vidrieras, que también se pueden apreciar desde el exterior.

Today I'm sharing my visit to the Virgen del Valle church, located on Avenida Perimetral Aristidez Rojas at the corner of Calle Bermúdez. This church stands out for its design, inspired by German-style chalets. It's quite different from traditional chalets, featuring side towers, a central nave, a triangular facade, and a unique tower resembling an obelisk. The church is actually composed of several chalets that are joined together to create a cohesive structure.
The roof is also triangular, and on the facade, you can see the door, the obelisk or bell tower, and beyond the perimeter fence, the main door, made up of several leaves, which gives access to the church. The interior is very beautiful; the floor is granite, and the walls combine lines and colorful stained glass. The shape of the roof, the stained glass, and the murals that adorn this church are visible. It has four columns of pews, which are white. On the day of my visit, they were holding rehearsals, so in order not to interrupt the activity, I only stayed at the back and took a short walk, avoiding disrupting the rehearsals. The interior design is striking and colorful, combining beautiful colors and geometric figures such as rectangles, trapezoids, hexagons, among others. I was surprised by the number of stained glass windows, which can also be seen from the outside.

Continuando nuestro recorrido por el exterior, observamos la forma de las columnas que sostienen el techo y sus barandillas rojizas. Una pasarela, compuesta por varios cuadrados de hormigón, conduce al nivel superior. El techo combina colores verde claro y verde manzana con líneas en el centro y a lo largo de los bordes.
Las columnas tienen dos tubos en la parte superior que las conectan con el techo. Continuing our tour of the exterior, we see the shape of the columns supporting the roof and its reddish railings. A walkway, made up of several concrete squares, leads to the upper level. The roof combines light green and apple green colors with lines in the center and along the edges.
The columns have two tubes at the top connecting them to the roof. We see the perimeter fence again, white, with cactus plants among the ornamental ones, and a partial view of the Bermúdez housing development located behind the church. To this side, there is also a busy bus stop and a small plaza with benches where people sit waiting for transportation. In the left corner, there is a black iron pedestal, and we have another view of the windows, air conditioning units, and the plants that adorn the church gardens. These are located between each column and near the windows. It was an exciting tour of this church, where I was able to appreciate its interior and exterior design. Both are striking, and the interior stands out for its combination of geometric figures and colors. Although it is located at a strategic point in the city, this is the first time I have visited this striking structure inspired by German chalet-style buildings.
