This waterfall is the most beautiful and breathtakingly thunderous of all the waterfalls I visited on this trek. It was the final destination of our trip to Sentul. To reach it, one of our group members had to be left at the nearest checkpoint due to an injured leg. I was exhausted by then, but I just followed the group.
So this is the incredibly beautiful and terrifying Leuwi Barong Waterfall...
Let's get it!
Sentul - West Java
Having passed four waterfalls that didn't meet my expectations—they were beautiful, but my expectations were too high, and the heavy rainfall made the water a little murky. At my final destination, I couldn't keep my mouth shut, so amazed by the sheer force of the waterfall. So, this was Curug Leuwi Barong, a rarely visited waterfall, as it's not open to the public due to its strong current.
But why did our guide bring us here? I don't know... perhaps he believed we only wanted to see and take photos, not to linger there.
I have no Idea...
To reach this waterfall, we followed a quiet path with a dark vibe. I also saw our guide removing a piece of wood that was crossing the path to the waterfall. It wasn't a branch that suddenly fell onto the path, but rather a sign that the waterfall was forbidden to visitors.
When we got there, I was like—aaaaaa… what a beautiful waterfall! From a few meters away, the water splashed on my face, so refreshing. Look at the strong current there, it's a little scary. A paradox, isn't it?
Besides, look at the steepness of this waterfall, it really gives me goosebumps...
When I was here, I felt like I didn't want to go home. If I hadn't remembered my friend who'd been left at the post, and it was already so late—I probably would have stayed there for maybe an hour. I loved the feel of the water splashing against my face. I loved the sound of the flowing water, I loved the vibe there, even though it was a little creepy.
Sentul has many waterfalls. If you look on World Maps, you'll see many signs around the area I'm visiting. There are so many. I've been to the Sentul area twice and visited six waterfalls in total, and it turns out there are many more nearby, all equally beautiful.
Ah, I can't wait for the next trek here...
Hasta La Vista...
Thanks in advance, to read my blog and hope you like my post!
See you on the next post...

Hi, Halo, Annyeong! Welcome to my galaxy.
I have so much imagination in my head. Something that I can't achieve as a human and as a girl. So writing is very challenging. Since Junior High School, I have written whatever I want to write. Without skill, I just write what I want to read. Now I have 12th published novels and all of those are romance.
Yeah, I proudly say that I am a passionate author, traveler wannabe, and blogger.
