Merak Island, Banten, West Java

How long and when the last time you and Your friend hang out together?
I will go first, just now.
It's been a while after we did picnic together and recently we were hang out without any plan. we just text then make it happened.
It is our first picnic since we are friends. It started when I went to this place with my co-works, then my friend mentioned and asked me to bring them to this place. So, here we go, to the Merak Island, Banten, West Java.
Merak Island for Refres Your Busy Day
Merak Island located at Banten, at the tip of the bordering Java Island and Sumatera Island. I and my friends reach out from Jakarta so It was a long journey for us by public transportation.
Due to adjust schedule of public transportation, we woke up on the 4 a.m. While we preparing our selves, we also prepare our rice box, then at 4.30 a.m. we reach the Palmerah Rail Station to Rangkas Bitung Rail Station. For this rute, we were charged at IDR 3.500. It's around 2 hours travel, then we were reach out Rangkas Bitung around 7.45 a.m. In hurry we move to local train to Merak Station. This part was full of exhausted due we should move past cause we not allowed to missed the train, so we in hurry through a lot people in the station.

For local train we purchased IDR 3.000
While enroute to Merak Island, we did many things on the train. We were chit and chat, sleep, then eat our snacks. We then reach out Merak Station at 10.00 a.m. Our journey was not done, cause we have to get micro mini to reach out our main destination, Merak Island. After do grocery, we get our micro mini with expense IDR 5000/packs.
Then we reach out the Merak Island... Literally not cause we have to take a boat with fee IDR 15000/packs round-trip. How cheap, innit?
There is two Merak Island. One the big island and the other one is the small island. There is a reason why the big island not allowed to tourist, it cause existing regional regulations want the animals there are still protected. Our destination there in the small island, The small Merak Island.
Merak Island has refreshing water and air. The ambience of the island was nature. While on the beach we spent time to eat together, have fun together, singing together, even we were slept on the beach for one hours due to the ambience is windy.
How many family be there also, cause this island is going viral on social media due the place is refreshful and cheap to reach with family and friends.
For this trip, include our food and beverages, we just spend IDR 50K-100K, which is cheap :D
This time is our first time picnic. All this time, we just hang out after office then chit chat for a while then back to home. We just spent around 3-4 hours to chilling up together. But at this time, we have full day.
In our age, could reach a place in full day is precious. You know, as adult we have not time enough to play together, but at this time we were picnic!
I am excited to the next picnic. Where it would be?
