Have you been to the village of Arbanassi in Bulgaria. If you haven't heard of him, maybe with this post I will make you want to visit him. This is a village near the town of Veliko Tarnovo, where the spirit of the past and the future intertwine in a unique way. The houses are preserved in authentic style, there are churches, a museum, a park, guest hotels and many restaurants. And the view from the village will really leave you breathless.
For lovers of forest tourism there are trails to walk around the village and follow the city. The trail is steep so it is suitable for lovers of extreme sports. Also in the village there is an ATV service that you can rent and ride.
Behind this wall there is a beautiful playground and benches where both young and old can enjoy the good weather. This is right in the center of the village. There is a bus stop and a large selection of restaurants with good traditional Bulgarian cuisine. In the evening I know that there are programs with music and shows for the guests of the village.Live Balkan music and orchestra playing with singers. Truly entertainment that makes one forget about all the stress and anxiety of such a busy day for all of us for the last two years. As a former employee of one of the hotels here, I can safely say that absolutely all employees have good English, which is an important condition for a pleasant and hassle-free holiday.
And if you want peace and quiet, there are small family guest houses, where you will be the host and probably one of the few families (guests) staying there who have gone to enjoy the peace and views that the Balkans reveal.
Now let's take a tour around the hidden back streets in the village to try to convey the atmosphere there.
There was no way to mine this house, the gate says that it was built in 1694. As of today, this house is 328 years old. This is really unique in my opinion. It looks like a royal fortress, a majestic palace that has preserved the spirit of the past.
Mandatory one selfie in the mirror 😄
And without deviating we continue to the next houses.
Following are photos from my favorite part of the village.
I am definitely thinking of doing a second part with the place where we enter the church museum and a house that is currently being restored, I am thinking of visiting it and when it is ready to follow the change and I am very curious because I think it is about 300 years old, which was evident in its construction and construction. The good thing is that the style will be preserved, so I believe it will be wonderful.
I love the old construction very much are very beautiful for me personally, this type of house. Each door, chimney, wall, roof, terrace. Everything is beautiful to me. Well, that was the first part of my post. I hope you enjoyed it, that I was able to recreate the spirit of this unique place. And I'll be happy to watch the second part soon. Thank you for your attention and I wish you wonderful emotions and many new destinations that will make you smile when you remember years later.
