Es maravilloso compartir Las noches de Antaño Cumana 2025 EN SUS 510 de la cuidad Cumaná, estado - Sucre - VENEZUELA**. Un lugar que muestra Cultura, historia y tradición, donde los cuidadanos turistas disfutamos cada 27 de Noviembre.
On a beautiful day, I went for a walk with my husband and friends in the afternoon to the historic center of this city, commemorating its 510th anniversary. In 2025, they called this great event “Resistance and Decolonization.” This activity showcases the identity of Cumaná through music, gastronomy, exhibitions, and period costumes, bringing together the eastern family in the setting of the firstborn of America.
En un día radiante, me fui de paseo con mi esposo y amigos en horas de la tarde, al casco historico de esta cuidad, conmemorando sus 510 años de fundada, este 2025 llamaron a este gran evento "Resistencia y descolonización". Esta actividad muestra la identidad cumanesa con música, gastronomía, exposiciones y trajes de época, reuniendo a la familia oriental en el marco de la primogénita de América.
These festivities took place on the 27th, 28th, and 29th in the place that invites us to discover the oldest part of the city, where we will find the oldest Catholic temple in Cumaná, the Basilica of Santa Inés, as well as other historical monuments such as the Castle, San Antonio de la Eminencia, the Santa Maria de la Cabeza Castle, the birthplace of Ramos Sucre, the Andrés Eloy Blanco Museum, and currently the Antonio José de Sucre Museum, our great marshal of Ayacucho, and the recently inaugurated mural city. All these places remain open to the public.
Estas festevidades se realizaron desde el los dias 27, 28 y 29 en el lugar que nos insta a conocer la zona más antigua de la ciudad, donde encontraremos el templo católico más antiguo de Cumaná, La basílica de Santa Inés, además de otro monumentos historicos como el Catillo, San Antonio de la eminencia, el castillo Santa Maria de la Cabeza, la casa natal Ramos Sucre, el museo Andrés Eloy Blanco y actualmente contamos con el museo Antonio José de Sucre, nuestro gran mariscal de Ayacucho, y La cuidad mural poco tiempo inagurada. Todos estos lugares permanecen abierto al público.
During these two days, those attending this event can be transported to other eras through a time tunnel built with pure Cumanese idiosyncrasy. Parishioners show up at the venue dressed in old-fashioned clothing, as famous figures, and in costumes, seeking to relive a little of the history of those bygone years.
En estos dos días, los asistentes a este evento,nos podemos trasladan a otras épocas mediante del túnel del tiempo construido con pura idiosincrasia cumanesa. Los parroquianos se hacen presentes en el lugar, con vestimentas antiguas, de personajes ilustres y de disfraces buscando vivir un poco la historia de esos años de antaño.
It is worth mentioning that during the tour we come across many stands offering typical local cuisine such as food, sweets, and drinks such as chinguirito, ponche, and guarapitas. They also sell local handicrafts.
Cabe mencionar, que además que mientras damos el recorrido encontramos muchos stands con la gastronomia típica de cuidad como comidas, dulces y bebidas como son el chinguirito, ponche y la Guarapitas. También ofrecen artesania propia de la cuidad.
As you walk through these crowded streets, you enjoy all the spectacle, with live music blaring and dancers enchanting us with their steps, their allegorical costumes, and traditional rhythms. The creativity of many stands representing iconic places in the city, each one embodying its essence, passion, and customs that reaffirm a deep sense of belonging.
Mientras vas recorriendo estas calles repleta de gente, vas disfrutamdo de todo este espectaculos, pues la música de cañoneros en vivo retumba, muchas bailarinas nos encanta con sus pasos, sus trajes alegóricos y ritmo tradicionales. La creatividad de muchos stand de lugares icónocos de la cuidad, cada uno representa su escencia su pasión y las costumbres que reafirman un profundo sentido de pertenencia.
We can also find the main stage where local and national artists perform to entertain the general public. I really enjoyed all these spaces and invite everyone who wants to visit my city of Cumaná during this time of year, as these traditional festivals have become very popular.
También podemos encontrar la tarima principal donde presentan artistas locales y nacionales que animan al público en general, la verdad que disfrute de todos estos espacios e invito a todos los que quieran visitar mi cuidad de Cumaná en estas fechas, pues se han hecho populares estas fiestas de antaños.
I loved showing him part of my traditions, roots, culture, and the indomitable spirit of yesterday's Cumaná, with the simplicity of the spirit of its people, the dance, the mark left by its heroes, and its incomparable cuisine. That's all for now, my adventurers.
