Hello to everyone who loves to travel and discover new places,
I will introduce you to a cove I have never been to before in Turkey, where I live. I decided to go to this place, which is two hours away from my house, on the recommendation of my friends. We travel quite far from residential areas to come here. As time passes, the buildings disappear and greenery begins to take its place. Because our destination is a big cove hidden in the forest. Before explaining this bay, I took a screenshot from Google maps for you. You can see it below and find out its address.

Sizlere yaşadığım yer olan Türkiye’de daha önce gitmediğim bir koy ile tanıştıracağım. Evimden iki saat uzaklıkta olan bu yere arkadaşlarımın tavsiyesi üzerine gitmeye karar verdim. Buraya gelmek için yerleşim yerlerinden oldukça uzaklaşıyoruz. Zaman geçtikçe çevrede binalar kayboluyor onun yerine yeşillikler almaya başlıyor. Çünkü gideceğimiz yer ormanın içine gizlenmiş büyük bir koy. Bu koy’u anlatmadan önce sizler için Google haritalardan ekran görüntüsünü aldım. Aşağıda görebilir ve adresini öğrenebilirsiniz.
The name of the place you see above and which I will tell you about is Çilingöz nature park. This place is in Istanbul/Çatalca. You have to use your own vehicle for transportation. The entrance fee and accommodation fee is approximately 100 TL. (10 Hive) After giving the necessary information, we can start our journey. Come on this fun trip with me.
I set out early. After about an hour, I took the forest road. The trees around me accompanied me to my destination. On long roads and forest roads, I usually lower the window and turn on quiet music. I breathe the fresh air of the forest. This relaxes me a lot.
Yukarıda gördüğünüz ve size anlatacağım yerin adı Çilingöz tabiat parkı. Burası İstanbul/Çatalca’da. Ulaşım için kendi aracınızı kullanmanız gerekli. Giriş ücreti ve konaklama ücreti yaklaşık 100 TL. Erken saatlerde yola çıktım. Yaklaşık bir saat sonra orman yoluna girdim. Gideceğim yere kadar etrafımdaki ağaçlar bana eşlik etti. Uzun yollarda ve orman yollarında genelde camı indiririm ve sakin bir müzik açarım. Ormanın temiz havasını içime çekerim. Bu beni oldukça rahatlatır.
After coming to the end of the beautiful and relaxing journey, a fascinating sight greeted me. Honestly, I did not expect the end of this road to lead to such a magnificent place. When I looked around from where I was, everywhere was mountainous and forest. The bay here, which was formed by natural formation, was a great gift for us. Everything was magnificent with its beach, air and sea. All it took was to enjoy this place.
Since this is a nature park, you have the chance to see many trees and wild animals. There are also campsites in forested areas. I went to the sea for a while here. It had fine and soft sand. If you swim in the Black Sea, you normally struggle with waves. But this big cove was fighting the waves for you. The waves ended before they came to you, leaving you with a waveless and clear sea.
Güzel ve dinlendirici yolculuğun sonuna geldikten sonra beni büyüleyici bir manzara karşıladı. Açıkçası bu yolun sonunun bu kadar muazzam bir yere çıkacağını tahmin etmemiştim. Bulunduğum yerden etrafıma baktığımda her yer dağlık ve ormandı. Doğal oluşum ile oluşan buradaki koy bizler için büyük bir hediyeydi. Kumsalı, havası ve denizi ile her şey muhteşemdi. Tek gereken şey buranın tadını çıkarmaktı.
Burası tabiat parkı olduğu için birçok ağaç ve yabani hayvan görme şansınız var. Ormanlık bölgelerde kamp yerleri de mevcut. Burada bir süre denize girdim. İnce ve yumuşak bir kumu vardı. Karadeniz’de denize girerseniz normalde sürekli dalgalarla boğuşursunuz. Fakat bu büyük koy sizin için dalgalarla savaşıyordu. Dalgalar size gelmeden bitiyor, size dalgasız ve berrak bir deniz kalıyordu.
While sunbathing on the beach, I saw many people go to a place from the mountains on the left side of the bay. This caught my attention. I always explore to see better views in the places I go. I'm also a little curious. That's why I went after them. Many people were returning when I left. I wondered what was at the end of the road.
Plajda güneşlenirken birçok insanın koy ’un sol tarafındaki dağlardan bir yere gittiğini gördüm. Bu benim dikkatimi çekti. Bende gittiğim yerlerde daha iyi manzaralar görmek için devamlı keşif yaparım. Ayrıca birazda meraklıyımdır. Bu yüzden onların peşinden gittim. Ben giderken birçok kişi geri dönüyordu. Yolun sonunda ne vardı dahada meraklandım.
It was difficult to advance here, and it was necessary to climb steep and sharp rocks. But as it progressed, the bay looked more beautiful. I walked carefully and for a long time. Then I came to the end of the bay. Here the waves were stronger. But when you look back from the farthest part of the bay, it was really enjoyable to see a huge bay in one frame.
Burada ilerlemek zordu dik ve keskin kayalardan tırmanmak gerekiyordu. Ama ilerledikçe koy daha güzel görünüyordu. Dikkatli ve uzun süre yürüdüm. Daha sonra koy’un uç kısmına geldim. Burada dalgalar daha şiddetliydi. Fakat koy ‘un en uç kısmından geriye baktığınızda koca bir koy’u tek bir karede görmek gerçekten çok keyifliydi.
People were walking to the back of the bay. When I turned the corner, I saw many people. Some had climbed the mountain, others were swimming in the water. I waited here for a while to understand what they were doing. I understood that there was a deep region within a small area and they had jumped here from above. This may sound a little scary at first. But as I watched them, I saw how much fun they had. When you look carefully at the picture I shared, you can see that the people at the top of the mountain are preparing to jump.
There were several people jumping from this place, whose height is 15-20 meters. They've probably had experience with this before. But rest assured I will never try. 😊 I watched this crazy activity with excitement for a long time. In addition, I watched the view a little because the shadow formed by the height of the mountains protected me from the sunlight.
İnsanlar yürüyerek koy ‘un arka tarafına gidiyordu. Köşeyi döndüğümde birçok kişi gördüm. Bazıları dağa tırmanmış bazıları ise suyun içinde yüzüyordu. Burada onların ne yaptıklarını anlamak için biraz bekledim. Küçük bir alan içerisinde derin bir bölge olduğunu ve buraya yukarıdan atladıklarını anladım. Bu ilk başta biraz kulağa korkutucu gelebilir. Fakat onları izledikçe ne kadar eğlendiklerini gördüm. Paylaştığım resme dikkatli baktığınız da dağın en yukarısındaki kişilerin atlamaya hazırlandığını görebilirsiniz.
Yüksekliği 15-20 metre olan bu yerden atlayan birkaç kişi vardı. Muhtemelen daha önce bu konuda tecrübelilerdi. Fakat hiçbir zaman denemeyeceğime emin olabilirsiniz. 😊 Uzun bir süre bu çılgın aktiviteyi heyecanla izledim. Ayrıca dağların yüksekliğinden kaynaklı oluşan gölge beni güneş ışığından koruduğu için biraz manzarayı seyrettim.
After satisfying my curiosity and resting, I decided to return to the beach. Of course, I took many photos to keep the beautiful landscapes I saw here as memories. I had a tiring and fun time. But I know very well that everything I have visited and seen has made me experience. That's why I can say that even being tired gave me pleasure.
Merakımı giderdikten ve dinlendikten sonra plaja dönmeye karar verdim. Tabi burada gördüğüm güzel manzaraların anı olarak kalması için birçok fotoğraf çektim. Yorucu ve eğlenceli vakitler geçirdim. Fakat gezdiğim ve gördüğüm her şey beni tecrübelendirdiğini çok iyi biliyorum. Bu yüzden yorulmak bile bana keyif verdi diyebilirim.
