Greetings friends in the Hive community. Today I want to share our travel experience in #pinmapple community and this is our second post in pinmapple.
The Toba Caldera Geopark was inaugurated on October 7 2013 and has become a tourist destination for tourists visiting the vicinity of Lake Toba, North Sumatra.
the trip from the city of Parapat itself takes about 25 minutes and the roads that are passed are also very smooth because the Indonesian government itself has made the Lake Toba caldera the main concern of one of Indonesia's tourist destinations, especially for tourists visiting North Sumatra.
before going inside, we are required to buy an entrance ticket which costs not up to IDR 50K, and an entry fee is also applied for the age range and the cheapest is the entrance fee for children.
after buying tickets and handing them over to the party in charge of guarding the entrance, we are directed straight to a small alley that goes straight to one of the main spots of the toba caldera.
after passing through the small alley, on the right we can immediately see the bathroom (actually this is what I find funny because the bathroom is the first spot that you see after passing through the entrance lol), it's on the right of the photo I provided.
after walking a few meters, there is a container that has been modified into a room and visitors can rent the container room but only after 6 pm (because half past 6 is the closing time of the caldera and public visitors are required to leave).
there is also a notice board for new visitors who may want to explore the whole place there.
walk a little, on the left there is a photo spot and visitors who come will definitely not miss the opportunity to make a photo moment at this spot because the view is directly facing Lake Toba (even though it only looks a little).
just for information, to be able to take photos here, visitors must queue especially when it's crowded so that conditions are maintained and shared comfort is also under control.
after taking pictures, our journey continues upward and there are many other spots that visitors can use to take photos - relax - have a picnic or just wait for the family to take pictures.
after being satisfied exploring the toba caldera, we stopped at a cafe truck that was provided there, my friends and I ordered a cafe latte (sorry I didn't take a picture because of the busy conditions).
to be honest, I myself don't really like places that are too crowded because there is a lot of trash that is randomly thrown away by irresponsible visitors but the best part I feel there is the calm you get, the security guard from the caldera advised us to come here busy working day because there are quiet conditions so we can feel the satisfaction of exploring the Toba caldera.
That's all I can say today, I hope you guys like this post. Don't forget to take a vacation to beautiful natural places. See you in the next post.
