🥇 Walking Through an Ice Garden in Alaska by
After almost 3 years since I mostly written from memories and past trips I enjoyed but whose pictures remained in folders for a long while now, I can happily say that life is finally getting back on track, with more occassional journeys that I've been missing so badly and which I couldn't see coming so soon, but which surely are going to remind me how my journey on here started, namely as a storyteller about places less known, but equally with the hope of promoting Romania more.

I hope you all are fine. I am also fine here. Today's post is based on the religious place Nilkanth Dham, Poicha. The temple complex was developed by the Shree Swaminarayan Gurukul Rajkot Sansthan. The construction work was completed around the year 2013. The entire campus spreads across more than one hundred acres of land. Beautiful pink sandstone, grand domes, tall shikhars, decorative pillars, fountains, and statues make the temple look magnificent. Visitors feel both peace and devotion while walking through the temple premises.

🥉 Kemény Castle (Conacul Kemény din Ciumbrud) | Let's travel together #357 by
Today was a rollercoaster of emotions. We are in the middle of a week long expedition cruise in Alaska's Prince William Sound. We were supposed to go check out the second largest tidewater glacier in Alaska, Columbia Glacier, but we were stopped by an impenetrable wall of ice, 13 miles long. So at this time, no one is getting anywhere close to the face of that glacier. It must have dumped so much ice during the winter season. We may not be able to get back there all year. So those hopes were dashed very early in the morning. As expedition leader, its up to me, in these situations, to come up with plan B. Our normal path between the mainland and Glacier Island was also blocked with ice. Dang. It was low tide. And there was a lot of ice. Hmmm. This could make for some epic shorewalking among pieces of ice that get stuck on the rocky shoreline. And this is what we ended up doing.
