Hello there, it’s been a while since I shared the pride of my hometown. Today, let me take you to one of the visited place in my home town the Mimbuaya Falls.
Ever since I was a child this falls have been our best place. This falls had given us so much joy, this is where I learned how to swim, have fun with my childhood friends playing tag in the water, and the high jumping of course that added adventure to it.
It’s been a while since I visited this falls, I just came back recently to visit it and this time together with our daughter. I and my husband were childhood friends and together with our friends we used to hang out here in Mimbuaya Falls but with our daughter.
The falls is about 1 kilometer away from the national highway and you can get there by any vehicle or even on foot. I can still remember, we go there on foot before but we did not feel tired instead we were having fun along the way.
Today, Mimbuaya Falls is still a preserved falls but there were some improvements. The Local Government Unit of Sugbongcogon funded it. There’s no entrance fee as of now and everyone can enjoy it for free.
Before only those who can swim can enjoy it but now even the children can enjoy it. The water is so cold that when I dip my feet it made me shiver and loss my appetite to swim. As I was watching my daughter enjoying the water, I can see the happiness and excitement of other young children swimming and high jumping. The splash of the water is so cold.
I am happy that for how many years the falls was preserved and the cleanliness was maintained. I hope you had fun reading this. Thank you and the part 3 will be the white sand beaches of my hometown-Sugbongcogon.
