[ESP-ING] Taiguaiguay Lagoon

Estas semanas me he estado moviendo mucho de un estado a otro, sobre to el estado Gúarico y en mis ir y venir uno va pasando diferentes municipios, pasamos por un sector que es un poco peligroso para los que ya lo conocen, sin embargo tiene cierto encanto, este sector es Bella Vista y dicen que es peligroso pues a quienes pasan por el lugar saben que aquí no hay señal de teléfono alguno, por lo que se presta mucho para que la delincuencia haga de las suyas, he escuchado muchas anécdotas o cuentos de personas que vienen en autobús y aquí justo los asaltan, pero está es otra historia.

Mientras uno va rodando se puede ver un lindo paisaje y es que aquí está la Laguna de Taiguaiguay, la cual está ubicada en el estado Aragua, entre cagua y Villa de cura, realmente está es un embalse que se realiO para el saneamiento del lago de Valencia en 1952, hoy en día existe la contaminación por desechos de industrias, pero igual se pueden ver distintas aves que posan en estas aguas.

En este lugar donde nos paramos están reconstruyendo un restaurante que está allí desde hace muchos años y están comenzando a hacerle un cariño y se puede notar que van avanzando, aunque la edificación es antigua de hace muchos años, se nota que está bien edificada y tienen una arquitectura muy bonita, allí vi unas máquinas excavadoras que están rellenando para teriarar un poco la Laguna de la edificación, ya que el lago de manera silenciosa ha ganado su terreno.

Estas obras han estado paradas desde años cuando Venezuela comenzó a entrar en crisis económica, pero ahora vemos que están recuperando estos espacios donde en algunos años atrás se vendían carnes en varas, cucharas y otras cosas, que representan parte de la gastronomía lugar.

A pesar de que aquí se puede ver un poco la desidia en lo que ha estado sometido este lugar, al mirar al horizonte se pueden ver algunos patos guiriri bañándose en el agua, también vienen garzas, y en el lugar también se puede encontrar animales como babas, cotas, tortugas y culebras, por lo que este lugar no es apto para bañarse ni pescar por la contaminación que aquí existe por las industrias en los sectores aledaños.

En el año 1999 le cambiaron el nombre nombre por represa Ing. Inmer Belis Hernández, pero los que ya la conocemos le decimos represa de Taiguaiguay y creo que suena mejor, pero se que este lugar dará mucho que hablar pues el paisaje es hermoso y con este restaurante habrán muchas fotografías que mostrar.

These past few weeks, I have been travelling a lot from one state to another, mainly in Guárico, and in my comings and goings, one passes through different municipalities. We passed through an area that is a bit dangerous for those who know it, but it has a certain charm. This area is called Bella Vista, and they say it is dangerous because those who pass through know that there is no mobile phone signal here, which makes it easy for criminals to do their thing. I have heard many anecdotes and stories of people who come by bus and are robbed here, but that is another story.

As you drive along, you can see a beautiful landscape, because here is the Taiguaiguay Lagoon, which is located in the state of Aragua, between Cagua and Villa de Cura. It is actually a reservoir that was built for the sanitation of Lake Valencia in 1952. Today, there is pollution from industrial waste, but you can still see different birds posing on these waters.

At this spot where we are standing, they are rebuilding a restaurant that has been there for many years, and they are beginning to take a liking to it. You can see that they are making progress. Although the building is old, you can tell that it is well built and has very beautiful architecture. There I saw some excavators filling in the lagoon to level the building a little, as the lake has quietly gained ground.

This work has been at a standstill for years since Venezuela began to enter an economic crisis, but now we see that they are recovering these spaces where, a few years ago, meat on skewers, spoons and other things were sold, representing part of the local cuisine.

Although you can see some of the neglect this place has been subjected to, when you look at the horizon you can see some guiriri ducks bathing in the water, herons also come, and you can also find animals such as slugs, snails, turtles and snakes, so this place is not suitable for swimming or fishing due to the pollution caused by the industries in the surrounding areas.

In 1999, the name was changed to Ing. Inmer Belis Hernández Dam, but those of us who already know it call it Taiguaiguay Dam, which I think sounds better. However, I know that this place will be the subject of much discussion because the landscape is beautiful and, with this restaurant, there will be many photographs to show.
