Hello
How are you all?
A few days ago, I went to Cut Mutia General Hospital in North Aceh. This is one of the largest and most comprehensive hospitals in my area. This hospital is managed by the local government, so it offers free services. The building's location on high ground makes it less prone to flooding. This hospital is also one of the oldest hospitals in my area. The hospital is named after one of Aceh's heroes, "Cut Muetia". This is a brief profile of this hospital.
Okay, now I'll take you to see the atmosphere inside this hospital and some of the care services at this hospital. I hope you enjoy it.
From the main road, we can see a sign next to the road that says Cut Muetia General Hospital, North Aceh Regency. We can see the hospital building on a plateau.
Now I'll head to the entrance to the hospital. Here's the road. Uphill, halfway up there's a barrier gate. We have to touch the machine to get a parking number. After that, the barrier gate opens automatically. I immediately continued on my way. At the front of the hospital is the Emergency Department (ER), a room specifically for patients who require immediate care, such as those with emergencies and non-emergencies.
I passed it and immediately went to the adjacent building. This is the outpatient service for non-emergencies and emergencies. Upon arrival, patients are required to have their fingerprints taken and a queue number taken.
There are many patients queuing for fingerprinting. I came here early in the morning so I could see the situation. BPJS Kesehatan now has a mobile service for online queue number collection, so patients don't have to crowd around the manual queue.
After receiving a queue number, the patient immediately entered the registration room. To check the situation inside, I immediately entered, and it was also full of patients waiting their turn to register. Here, patients It can take up to an hour to queue, depending on the queue number they received.
After completing the registration process, they are directed to their respective polyclinic rooms, where they can immediately wait in front of the room to be examined by a doctor.
Because the process of waiting to be called in front of the polyclinic room takes a long time, it's not that long, but rather because it's too crowded, making the process slow. Each polyclinic room only has one specialist, so it's understandable. To relieve boredom, young doctors or doctors on internships provide health education to patients, standing in front of the crowd to provide education.
They explain several health theories. Besides gaining insight into their health, patients also get some relief from the boredom of the long wait.
The next step, after the patient has been examined by a doctor, is to receive a prescription and then be directed to pick up the medication at the hospital's drug depot.
Actually, I only spent time in the outpatient department. This is only a small part of the hospital's activities. There are many other rooms and activities in the back, such as the operating room, the lab room, the X-ray room, the inpatient room, the delivery room, and many more that I haven't mentioned or visited. There's also a special room for patients with mental disorders. Thank you all. That's all for today's trip. If I have another opportunity, I'll tour all the rooms in this hospital.
