Everyone of us have the weakness and there are things that we are afraid of. I myself have lots of fear and one of those is the fear of heights. Everytime I am in a high place, my hands will get sweaty and like there's needle in my palm that keeps pricking. But I tried to fight this fear when my partner brought me to Agas-Agas Bridge.

Agas-Agas Bridge

The brigde is located at Southern Leyte. The said bridge is the tallest bridge of the country, Philippines. It has a height of 292 ft. above ground. And the lenth of the bridge is 1,150ft.

The whole area was covered with green because of the trees. It looks like a bridge in the forest.

The Agas-Agas is near in my partner's hometown. It will only take 15 minutes from his parent's house and 25 minutes from our house.
When it was my first time to see the bridge, I was so amazed because it was fogging that morning. My partner brought me into their house when we were in college and his parents invited me to their home. We traveled at dawn and we passed the bridge around 5am in the morning. It was so called that time and I can hardly see the bridge. Since that day, I always saw and pass the bridge everytime my partner bring me to their house before. And now that I live with him now here in his hometown, we always pass this bridge if I go to my parent's house.

These are my picture when he brought me there for the first time. The beauty of nature. The color green mountain. And the height of the bridge that made me feel like I was being dragged down. And to tell you honestly, I really didn't conquer my fear of heights. I never tried to stay at the center of the bridge. Though I know the view there is more beautiful to watch than in the edges of the bridge. But what can I do, I am really afraid of heights that made me hardly breathe properly.

During the night, the bridge bright because of the light. Well, the light will be enough for travelers to see the bridge better while driving. We experienced traveling from my parent's house to ours and it was night that time, and since I am also afraid of dark, I don't look the side of the bridge because I might see something haha. But yeah, it's so dark around the bridge. That's why I told my partner that we will not travel at night again because it's really dangerous.

So, if you like to visit the bridge, it's better to visit during the day especially sunny day. I've seen a lot of travelers who visit the bridge and took pictures because the view in there is so beautiful.
