Mi intención
Voy a responder a todas las preguntas de #bloggingchallenge con cariño, porque me divierten y me acercan a ti. Para continuar la tradición ancestral de los fogones. Para darme a conocer a quien le resuene. Empezando hoy, y agradeciendo en todo el proceso porque se que voy a re encontarme con mis maestras, mis amigas, mis hermanos.
Mi frase favorita
A lo largo de una vida estamos en contacto con muchísimas frases maravillosas. Perlas de sabiduría que nos han dejado desde los clásicos de la literatura, los modernos escritores, películas y series, y hasta nuestros amigos, familiares, nuestros abuelos y un montón de personas más que nos han compartido grandes ideas en pocas palabras.
Mi frase favorita la leí en el Tao te King, un libro clásico de filosofía taoísta china atribuido a Laozi.
Difícil es traducir su título completamente, pero su significado apunta a las palabras "camino" y "virtud" o "poder".
Es un hermoso libro, bastante breve pero muy profundo y complejo de entender. Cada frase está muy cuidada, y revela múltiples sentidos.

El nombre que se le puede dar no es su verdadero nombre.
Sin nombre es el principio del universo y con nombre es la madre de todas las cosas.
Desde el no ser comprendemos su esencia y desde el ser solo vemos su apariencia.
Ambas cosas, ser y no ser, tienen el mismo origen, aunque distinto nombre.
Su identidad es el misterio.
Y en este misterio se encuentra la puerta de toda maravilla.

"El Tao que puede ser expresado no es el verdadero Tao".
Ya con este comienzo el autor te dice que todo lo que ha escrito a continuación para explicarte el Tao, en realidad nunca será el verdadero Tao...
Es como el loco que apunta hacia la luna. Algunos lo miran a él, otros a su dedo... pero unos pocos mirarán más allá, donde realmente señala.
Esto me quiere decir que por muchas palabras que inventemos, hay algo que se nos escapa. Y aunque intentemos describirlo, siempre nos quedaremos cortos. Podemos usar todo el diccionario para hablar del amor... pero no es el amor.
Y así con todo el universo.
A menudo nos confundimos y le damos mucha importancia a estos símbolos rústicos, las palabras... pero lo importante es lo que está más allá de lo que puede ser dicho.

Throughout a life we are in contact with many wonderful phrases. Pearls of wisdom that have left us from the classics of literature, modern writers, movies and series, and even our friends, family, our grandparents and a lot of other people who have shared great ideas with us in a few words.
I read my favorite phrase in the Tao te Ching, a classic book of Chinese Taoist philosophy attributed to Laozi.
It is difficult to translate its title completely, but its meaning points to the words "way" and "virtue" or "power".
It is a beautiful book, quite short but very deep and complex to understand. Each phrase is very careful, and reveals multiple meanings.

"The Tao that can be expressed is not the true Tao."
Already with this beginning the author tells you that everything he has written below to explain the Tao to you, in reality will never be the true Tao...
It's like the madman pointing to the moon. Some look at him, others at his finger... but a few will look beyond, where he really points.
This means to me that no matter how many words we invent, there is something that escapes us. And even if we try to describe it, we will always fall short. We can use the whole dictionary to talk about love... but it's not love.
And so with the whole universe.
We often get confused and give a lot of importance to these rustic symbols, the words... but the important thing is what is beyond what can be said.
