Day 02/30 Days Blogging Challenge PT 2 Ep 02 - Best Investment I've Made.

Talking of an Investment I've made that I am so happy about even till now, it's buying Sportstalk, I must confess that it was the plan to invest that brought me to sportstalk, a plan to have a percentage of my monthly salary on Hive and possibly on its second layer. That's what brought me here.

Though not that sporty kind of a person, I was introduced to sportstalk by Hive account@tosyne2much a very popular guy on Nigeria's biggest news blogging platform - Nairaland. He told us of the need of have a stake and that sports will surely moon judging from the fact that Sports binds us all together. I didn't waste much time in two months I've amassed up to 2million sports then at $0.01. By the time we enter the new year, my investment portfolio has reduced to nothing, thanks to lack of good administration of Sports and silence of the owner. Despite all this, I kept on staking, never powering down, hoping that one day, this same token that once was at $0.01 and now at $0.00002 will rise.

In the midst of the Corona virus came a saviour for sportstalksocial, Hive account@uyobong by name and started to rally round and prophesy that sports has potential and can reach $0.001 and one day $0.10. It was hard to believe because nothing was on Sportstalksocial anymore, you just earn your curation reward and go dump it at the market. Hive account@uyobong went on to encourage staking and buying of sports, he bought in millions and thousands, buying almost every day and making a post about it which ended up getting the attention of Hive users that there is still a platform called Sportstalksocial.

With time, the same sports that was once at $0.00002 is now at $0.003, thanks to this man and the ocd curation initiative by Hive account@cryptoandcofee a lot of people started writing good content on sports instead of normal actifit, the token started having value and my investment once again was worth it at the end despite being a sweet-bitter-sweet experience.

Presently, I can say that my best Investment both offline and online is Sportstalk right now, my curation reward gives me joy, the ability to contribute to many sports authors makes me happy too and I keep on staking each and everyday in thousands.
