So many people struggle with English as a Language. It is a language made up of many parts. But often times a lot of English speakers struggle to learn other Languages. Today I will be sharing some Languages that some English speakers find really difficult to learn.
Mucha gente lucha con el inglés como idioma. Es un lenguaje formado por muchas partes. Pero muchas veces muchos angloparlantes tienen dificultades para aprender otros idiomas. Hoy compartiré algunos idiomas que algunos angloparlantes encuentran realmente difíciles de aprender.
MOST DIFFICULT LANGUAGES TO LEARN / IDIOMAS MÁS DIFÍCILES DE APRENDER
ARABIC LANGUAGE / LENGUAJE ÁRABE
Arabic is a Semitic language that first emerged in the 1st to 4th centuries. It is now the Lingua Franca of the Arab world. It is named after the Arabs, a term initially used to describe people living in the area bounded by Mesopotamia in the east and the Anti-Lebanon mountains on the west, in Northwestern Arabia and in Sinai Peninsula. Arabic , challenges English speakers because most letters are written in 4 different forms depending on where they're placed in a word. Also, vowels are not included when writing, there are many different dialects as countries that speak Arabic which makes it very hard to master overall.
El árabe es una lengua semítica que surgió por primera vez en los siglos I al IV. Ahora es la Lingua Franca del mundo árabe. Lleva el nombre de los árabes, un término utilizado inicialmente para describir a las personas que viven en el área delimitada por Mesopotamia en el este y las montañas Anti-Líbano en el oeste, en el noroeste de Arabia y en la península del Sinaí. Árabe,desafía a los angloparlantes porque la mayoría de las letras están escritas en 4 formas diferentes dependiendo de dónde estén colocadas en una palabra. Además, las vocales no se incluyen al escribir, hay muchos dialectos diferentes en los países que hablan árabe, lo que hace que sea muy difícil de dominar en general.
JAPANESE LANGUAGE / IDIOMA JAPONÉS
Japanese is an East Asian Language spoken by about 128 million people, primarily in Japan. It is a member of the Japonic (or Japanese-Ryukyuan) language family. Japonic Languages have been grouped with other language family such as Ainu, Austroasiatic, but none of these proposals has gained widespread acceptance. Read more about the Japanese Language HERE.
The Japanese Language is difficult because of it has 3 independent writing systems: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji. Each of these writing system has its own alphabet and thousands of characters have to be learned before being able to write in Japanese. Just imagine the stress. 🤦🏽🤦🏽
El japonés es un idioma de Asia oriental hablado por unos 128 millones de personas, principalmente en Japón. Es un miembro de la familia lingüística Japonic (o Japanese-Ryukyuan). Las lenguas japonesas se han agrupado con otras familias de lenguas como el ainu, el austroasiático, pero ninguna de estas propuestas ha ganado una aceptación generalizada. CHINESE LANGUAGE / IDIOMA CHINO
The standard Chinese language is often called Mandarin, it is the official standard Language of China and Taiwan, and one of the four official languages of Singapore. The Chinese language is a group of Languages varieties that form the Sinitic branch of the Sino-Tibetan Languages, spoken by the ethnic Han Chinese majority and many minority ethnic groups in greater China. The Mandarin Language is the most spoken language in the world. It is a tonal language which, for an English speaker, is extremely difficult to master. The language is full of idioms, aphorisms and homophones, which makes it very hard to learn. Not to forget the part where it has its own alphabet, Ahhhhh! So stressful.🤦🤦🤦
El idioma chino estándar a menudo se llama mandarín, es el idioma estándar oficial de China y Taiwán, y uno de los cuatro idiomas oficiales de Singapur. None of the Languages I discussed above have any Germanic language root. That means they are simply not connected to English or its root and history at all and this is what makes learning them so hard. But, I must confess, hearing people speak those languages, they sound really beautiful, too bad they are so difficult.

Ninguno de los idiomas que mencioné anteriormente tiene raíz de idioma germánico. Eso significa que simplemente no están conectados con el inglés o su raíz e historia en absoluto y esto es lo que hace que aprenderlos sea tan difícil. Pero, debo confesar, escuchar a la gente hablar esos idiomas suenan realmente hermosos, lástima que sean tan difíciles.
