Hey, everyone. If you have read my post titled This Is Not A Post, It's A Child's Tantrum then you'd be aware that I was working on a project recently. In order for me to get that project done, I figured I'd go to a professional and design a coll proposal

Then Chaos Ensued

My project partner sent me a picture of him that will be included in the proposal.

The reason he did that is so I can model what my picture would need to look like.

Then Chaos Ensued

I called the local pictures studio so I would take a similar picture stating that I would need to take a picture with a suit for a proposal. The only issue is; I didn't have a clean suit at the time. He responded and said that I shouldn't be worried and that he will take care of that.

Now, when someone says something like that you'd fairly assume that they'd have a suit ready, or at least know a place where you can get a quick one. That was my presumption at least. Wanna see what the picture looked like? Well, here is the picture "modeled" after the picture of my friend.

Uhmm, excuse me, WHAT?!

Allow me to explain

By saying he will "take care of that" what the guy meant is that he will edit a suit over me! The dude was seriously depending on his editing skills for my make-or-break opportunity of a lifetime.

So, having no other choice, I went home after he said he will send me the picture on WhatsApp. By the time I got home, he had already finished editing the picture and I arrived home to see this

That's right! He figured to edit my face over my project partner's face. So, in the proposal, we would both look like we're wearing the same suit! This means one of two things, either investor will see my picture clearly edited OR EVEN WORSE, that my project partner and I own only one suit that we exchange between each other.

Understandably, I decided to calmly and collectively explain that there's no way I would take that picture. Thus, he decided to edit on another suit. And here's what that looked like.

This dude figured the solution would be me having a picture where my head looks so huge. He justified the different sizes by saying that I was too fat!

So between that justification and that picture. I had a completely poor self-image, both figuratively and literally!

I stated that it doesn't work because the lighting looks and my head is huge. So, he told me to wait. And a whole hour later, he sent me this.

What even that! A picture of me lost in space but remaining confident that my disproportionately large head will guide me home?

His solution was this

So now, I decided to calmly and collectively tell him to FUCK OFF AND THAT MY HEAD IS STILL FUCKING HUGE!

After that interaction, I understood his process. It is to frustrate the person he's dealing with so bad and lower the expectations and bar so low that the person ends up taking whatever they could get. The reason I say that is when he sent me the last photo and I just accepted it without objection.

Head still relatively huge, but hey, at least it took attention from the fact that I don't have a left ear anymore.
