We are happy to announce that we have joined @OCD's incubation family. Between OCD aiming to reward undervalued, good content on the blockchain and us hoping to reward our members' good content that we have been seeing since the community started, this seems like the best conclusion.

As of writing this post, the Comedy Open Mic has reached 177 members. A milestone in my opinion as I never expected to reach such a number at such a pace. We have truly come a long way.

I would like to start by thanking all the people who helped us get this far. Especially to our members who continued to post and interact within the community as it was getting started. We would also like to thank our sponsors and supporters who kept our Bi-Weekly contest going and helped spread the love.

It wouldn't have been possible without all of you. Anyone can start a community but a community's success relies mainly on its members and supporters.

The vision and goal of Comedy Open Mic are to create a place in the blockchain where people could share a laugh, especially during tough times. We may not believe that laughter is the best medicine, but we believe it to be a strong one that triggers healthy changes, whether emotionally or even physically. That is what we aim to provide in this community. We hope to be that place where people can take life less seriously if only for a few moments.

With that out of the way, we have a few announcements and updates to make regarding our contest sponsors.
