They Always Have Their Ways Of Getting Culprits
While I was a kid there were many things I dispise about the adults apart from the fact they are very annoying and they claim they know everything. Every adult seems to be some kind of special investigative agent. One can never do his crime as a child and walk scout free , one wicked adult will just comeforth with sabi , Sabi (I know everything) and expose you gosh😡
Those days as kids the best time to fart is when we are gathered together watching movies in the parlor hehe. Back then, television was rare only few homes had the privilege to own it. It was that black and white television. My dad loves Bollywood movies a lot, there was no day we do not watch. For such reason I got acquainted with a lot of their songs and I could even mime a few, praise the Lord hehe.
Whenever my dad puts on a movies i was the chief informant, zoom I have left home to the neighborhood to inform my friends . Few minutes later you would see us coming in mass like the sand of the earth.
As kids the best time to release gases from our anus is when the movies is at its best part, that moment they are about to do some real action, boom, we unleashed the door for the gas to flow and you will just hear something like pooooooom or shhhhhhh, the latter is often very corrosive yet it doesn't sound much hehe soon every where will be saturated with the smell. Usually when that happens what my Dad often does is off the television and send us all out.
It has been like that for some time and we were enjoying the moment until one of my aunt visited from the village, that wicked lady, I don't know what is even her own. I knew it that it was the devil that sent her right from the day she called to inform us she was coming.
One of those days we were watching a movie then my friend did the needful just at the point when they were about to kill the antagonist, and it was the shhhhhhh type that he did, we taught it was going to be the normal oya everybody go out, but it all changed that day. My aunt said everybody lie down, we will catch the culprit now, we laughed and thought how would she do that? Guess what she did? She brought her nose down and began sniffing our butts one after the other until she caught the guy .
I don't know where she got that idea from but that was damn crazy, like adults are you for real? We allowed you to treat us like baby's that was not enough, now you are sniffing our butts , so you we can not have our fun in peace again right?😡
I told you adults are just so annoying, they will lure you and make you feel as if all is alright they can even buy you sweet and give you meat just to make you confess the crime you committed, hehe God will help you that day if you allow the taste of sweets and meat deceive you.
For my parents those days, the best way the get us to confess crimes is through pampering hehe. Those days I was the master of meat affairs, I could , detect meat kept in pot anywhere provided it is within our home😁.
My innocent sisters who didn't participate in the act are often the ones that suffer the aftermath. I thought I was smart until my dad engaged the pampering method hehe, he would often call me aside from my sisters sit me down we would gist as if nothing has happened, he would lure me and make me reach a state of the child I really was, then he would say, you know it's just you and I here, I won't beat you if you tell me the truth and I won't tell anyone as well, your secret is safe with me.
Heheh at that point you will see me behaving like one good boy and I will lower my voice and say yes it is I..hahhahah gueess you know the end part of the matter, African parents , parents will always be African parents.
I wonder why I use to fall for his tricks , as soon as we finished our hidden conversation he will step out and just wink his wife ahhhh! You know the rest.
It took me time to detect that the reason why he doesn't beat me himself is just to make me trust him and tell him the truth next time hehe. After receiving the beating of my life he would come and say I didn't tell your mommy, I don't know how she found out, maybe she was at the door listening to us😭😁.
Another one is catching liars, I don't know if this has ever happened to you, but adults believes that any child who stammers during a truth investigation case is the culprit, can you imagine, they don't even bother to check that fear could make someone repeat one thing over again.
Once something happens and they asked who did this? The guy who doesn't know how to talk fluently will be in trouble that day😁, only God knows the kind of beating I received from my aunt that time because I could not speak so what I often do is that anytime something happens and we are called upon for investigation I don't hesitate to point out the culprit hehe.
