Remembering the jokes about April Fool's Day, which didn't happen on a weekday but rather on the weekends. Yet very quickly, the pleasant recollections of your delightful weekend fade away as you remember the agonizing notion of going back to work on Monday.
It feels like you are about fainting after seeing a ghost
You just remember the files on your desk, words cannot describe the chest pain you feel by just thinking about monday
But why would I bullied by just one painful day of the week called Monday, rather than think about this pain in the ass. I put together a list of the reasons I detest Mondays so much.
I understand that alarms are meant to wake you up, but the Monday alarms seem to be trying to take your life. You are reminded by the intrusive noise that waking up on a Monday morning is punishable. That is the initial step of pain, a subliminal warning that life is about to make you less mobile.
Mondays serve as a subtle reminder that you have an employer and cannot decide when to report to work on your own. It conveys the message to "get up and get to work." Else, you might as well start getting yourself prepared homeless and broke unless you are lucky to have Hive.
Imagine having to leave your house as early as 6 or 7 am in order to board multiple buses or your lone train. When you fall asleep while driving to work and miss your destination or the next stop, the pain is unbearable. Your eyelids are puffy from lack of sleep, and your brain is still in the weekend groove. Despite this, you would still get hit by traffic.
On Mondays, time seems to move more slowly than usual; this unexpected unwillingness of time to advance on Mondays needs to be explored as a project topic in colleges. You have the impression that you can buy time when it appears like time has been stopped everywhere.
Imagine struggling to get to work and missing to get a cup of coffee, not to forget those early morning meetings which long talks about things that could wait for later in the week. You manage to survive that phrase only to find out your have files, emails and calls from the weekend to attend to. This pain should be included in 1000 ways to die young.
It is against the law for anyone to ask you "How was your day?" on a Monday; it is also a courteous method to make someone cry because how do you begin to explain to everyone that life has robbed you of happiness?
