I tell you that one day, while my cousins, uncles, grandmother, my mom and I were sitting at the table drinking coffee, the house phone rings, my aunt answers it, I remember that her face was a poem, her eyes were shining, she was very happy with that call, when the call ends, we asked her what had happened, her answer was: "The cat is getting married".
The cat is the granddaughter and eldest niece of the family, so she is nicknamed since she was little because of the color of her eyes, when we found out that she was getting married we were all surprised because of her young age (18 years old), however it was cause for celebration and joy, I remember that the wedding was in 2 months, something rushed, but importance was not given, so, being the granddaughter and eldest niece, therefore the first of the cousins to marry, my grandmother, my mother and my grandmother began from that moment to organize several things.

When we talk about marriage, we immediately imagine an event of magnitude, even if it is only for the civil part, I remember my grandmother calling my cousin's mother on several occasions, asking her what they needed, what food they were planning to give out, I remember my grandmother calling my cousin's mother several times, asking her what they needed, what food they were planning to give out, what they were going to give out, what kind of champagne to toast, who was going to decorate the bride and groom's glasses, in short, so many questions that sometimes overwhelmed us.
The week of the event is here, LA BODA DE LA GATA (THE WEDDING OF THE CAT) My cousin did not live with my uncle, because her parents were divorced for a long time, however we always maintained that constant family communication, especially my grandmother, she never abandoned her grandchildren because I imagine that she felt the need to give them what their father did not give her.
I remember my mom and my aunt buying clothes, what color will I wear... what dress will I choose black or blue, the hairdresser will be free that day, the girls should go with their best dress, so many things and preparations for the party of the older cousin.

Well, the long awaited day arrived, the party or reception was scheduled for noon, and punctually there we were the uncles and cousins supporting the older cousin, of course my grandmother could not miss, each one was dressed better than the other, my grandmother with an elegant outfit that definitely always characterized her, my godfather, my aunt's husband with a tie card and so on, my mom with a short skirt outfit, but elegant, just as she loves, my aunt in a long suit, because her eldest niece was getting married, and us, some beautiful party dresses, worthy of wearing them to a fashion event.

Only when we entered the house, my cousin, that is, the bride was in pajamas and ironing, my aunt, the bride's mother cleaning, the groom sleeping in shorts, my cousin's brothers playing with dirt in the front of the house, hahahahahaha none of us in the car wanted to get out, since at that moment we realized that "The wedding of the cat" was not elegant and was not according to any of the outfits we had on.

My grandmother quickly invented a parallel story to justify the elegant clothes we had, she said that we were coming from the marriage of a niece of my grandmother and that we did not plan to stay, but we had no other choice, I really think that nobody believed us hahahahahahaha
When they started to get dressed, at least we had hopes that the outfits they were going to wear were more appropriate to the situation and well no, I remember seeing my cousin getting married in blue jeans.
Back to our homes the laughter was not normal hahahahahahaha, we really looked like a gala event in a place not suitable for it, I don't know how many weeks had to pass to remember the same thing without tears coming out of so much laughter.
