A moment of truth... That is what I would have titled this post but I'm not sure if I should be bothered about any of you laughing at me after reading because without you saying, I know you did almost all of them when you were little.
So make sure not to laugh at me but laugh at the jokes in them π
How silly were you at young age? What crazy things did you do? Uhmm I'm asking myself (I'm in a moment of truth right now). So I'll share with you some short crazy stories about my childhood.
Watching 18+ movies
I know some families do try to follow this and guide their kids not to watch movies meant for adults but I'm one of those kids that learnt about it without the help of my dad.
Well, he would sometimes force us to bed if he knows the kind of movie that is about to stream on the TV but all that didn't stop me from watching to know what exactly they were keeping me away from watching.
I understood what it meant by 18+ even though it wasn't too bad (but it was a bit bad for a child my age back then). So whenever I visit an elderly person and they are watching movie, if it gets to a scene where the characters wants to kiss or do the do...
My good girl in me would try to pick something from the floor or remember that I want to drink water... Just to come back and continue from after the kiss scene.
Whispers... Sometimes I spy to look at the faces of those watching the 18+ scene, it was hilarious to me back then.
Farting/Scratching stylishly
I don't know if you would understand what I mean... When I feel pressed and I'm in the midst of my elder or a stranger or more worse, my crush... The way I release the bowel soundtrack is different.
If I'm sitting, I try to bend a little and release it little by little without any sound but the smell could mess things up for those around while I just blink my eyes like an innocent angel.
Having an itchy butt in public is worse, it happened to me a few days ago just as it had happened so many times to me when I was little. Back then, I'll scratch without any shame and even try to smell the hands I used π₯΄ but now, I use codes.
Sometimes I try to distract the persons present there and give my butt a quick scratch while sometimes I just start dancing or jumping... No need asking why I do that because I won't tell but my butt is having a good scratch π
I've once done a quick scratch and I turned to look only to find a guy having been staring surprisingly at me... I had a nightmare that night π’
Showing off my new stuffs
If there was one thing I liked or do as a child was showing off to my mates a new stuff I got. Having new stuffs back then no matter how cheap it may had come in, I would always take it outside to show my neighbor friends.
I don't know why I always did that when the things end up getting lost (stolen by those I show the stuffs to) or getting bad (after fighting for it with an obvious non owner). The feeling of "Wow your thing is fine" was all I wanted at that point and I always got it.
Don't be shocked if I tell you that I also showed off my panties when dad gets us new ones.
Even though he had dressed us up in our normal clothes, I'll pretend to be feeing hot and pull the clothes off just to show off my panties and of course, my friends will be like "Wow, blue panties!" π and yeah, I would proudly put on my clothes back.
Mosquito palava/trouble
Who else thinks the mosquito sprays, recharge cards, coils don't actually kill mosquitos or maybe they do but not as fast as when you spray it directly on them or find them with your clapping hands.
I remember I wasted so much of my dad's mosquito spray back then. A little sound of mosquito, you'll hear a rushing sound of the spray in that area like I'm washing a car with a pressure washer π
It can be so assuring and fulfilling when you know that the mosquito is dead and gone because there was no way it could survive such a pollution that went down it's spine.
I don't do these things anymore because obviously, I'm a grown up now π if you like, argue with me... I'm ready for you!
This is my entry for The COMedy Rumble I'll like to invite and
to participate too.
