This would be my last entry for the COMedy rumble and I thought I should share my experience including some embarrassing moments I had with listnerds.
We all know this rumble has a huge connection to the platform (Listnerds) and we were asked to sign up there, share our comedy posts to earn on the platform (Yes! To earn! Well, we will talk about that if you read on).
Finding out about listnerds for the first time
The first time I got to see the word Listnerds, it was on a Hiver's post where he was like "If you're interested in getting to know about listnerds, send a message on discord" and from the way he was writing about the platform, I decided to click on the link to see if it was something I could do without bothering anyone.
I know everyone is busy with other stuffs but when they ask you to bother them about your little challenges with something, just yield because they had their reasons.
I entered the listnerds link he left and I went out of the site almost the same time... Thanks to my stubbornness!
Ever since then, it's been just me and Hive but I kept seeing more people who were involved in listnerds, I even saw a richlist post from and I was like "It even has a richlist and most Hivers are top there". I began to wonder what was holding me back from signing up and asking questions.
I never knew I was waiting for the COMedy Rumble to begin π (I know it's just an excuse, don't scream at me)
One of the rules asked that we join listnerds, share your our entry posts there and a name was mentioned in the referrer link who also suggested that any signee can meet her for any confusing questions.
Signing up on listnerds
That was it! I signed up and joined her team... And the questions began!
Yeah, I know I could have been gone far by now if I had unleashed my questions asking before the COMedy Rumble opportunity but it's better late than never, allow me to encourage myself please π₯Ί
Signing up on listnerds must be one of the easiest things to do online, it was so easy and I was like "Why didn't I sign up then?!" I think I'll keep asking myself that question for a long time because I've come to realize what I've been missing out on π
Connecting her Hive account
Well, it got to the stage of connecting my Hive account to listnerds (Yeah, you'll need a Hive account to work on listnerds... I guess). It became the hardest part for me until I kept disturbing for guidance, she was so sweet enough to guide me and even ask for clarification when she isn't sure of some.
I got to connect my account after so many attempts and watching videos π Listnerds had many "How to" videos but they only helped after I had asked countless questions.
Staking her listnerds and ctp
didn't waste any time to let me know of the benefits of staking the coins on my listnerds, I was surprised to see that I had some ctp to stake and the COMedy Rumble had also made me win some listnerds.
I staked my coins after so many questions again π then I started to earn in less than two days I joined listnerds. But it was just yesterday I learnt from to always claim my staking rewards and I shouldn't compile them for too long before claiming.
I've been compiling them with the rich woman mindset to claim the reward when it's bigger π€£ I never knew I was actually being stagnant to the rewards my first staking gives me.
Reading mails to send mails
To be honest when I first started to open mails, I didn't read some posts (like I didn't open the links) I just save and close them. I was surprised to see that the number of mails I have to send was not counting up.
My guardians on listnerds were surprised that I had finished all the mails to read that day, well thanks to my ignorance of not actually reading the mails. I learnt my mistakes and I began to open mails to read.
And I realized how much I've been missing again, there were so many educative and interesting posts to read. And I also met interesting Hivers who have gone really far on Listnerds, most of them are funny to read from really π
Some listnerds mails will be like...
Within the past week I've been on listnerds, I've come to see a whole lot of different kinds of mails you will find there.
The deceptive mails
You open a mail with an image of a something unrelated to food only for you to open and start seeing tempting meals that you can't eat from but only recipe to do yours at home. I love to open these mails a lot π I know you understand.
The only links mails
Even though I feel like my throat will fall out for some meals I see on some mails, I still prefer to see images on every mails I open... It kinda makes me know what to expect when I open it. I know that isn't important because some really good posts do hide under an only link mail.
The invitation link mails
I opened a mail and it was inviting me to join a site, I opened the link to check it out (to get my mail number up, not for any other reason) but the site happened to be an earning site (I was tempted to join but I didn't) I hardly have time for the ones I'm into already π
The money/crypto related mails
I don't know if it's just my account but I get these set of mails more than any other kind of mails. I'm not complaining even though I know too little about stuffs like this but I feel like they are giving me signs to learn more about them which I know I'll have to do if I want to keep reading mails.
What listnerds users are like...
Most of them are super amazing writers, like I see it that they put in more effort in their posts as they would be sharing mails of their posts. And they are good commenters as well.
I met one in the comment section and I still laugh at the jokes he said π some are good comedians, I can only wish they became part of the comedy community too.
The Ctp commanders are a special one for me, I once asked how I could be able to command ctp to share and she said I would need up to 100 ctp to do that. I'm still on it, I can't wait to start commanding it too π
Her overall view on listnerds
I want to specially thank and
for making me take on this opportunity and becoming active there with the knowledge they have shared with me. It's been an awesome experience and I plan to continue and grow there.
I haven't been able to share a post there but this post will be shared there... My very first mail on listnerds!!! I couldn't be more proud at this moment.
Thanks to all who had been making the Rumble fun and interesting, all the best to every participants and I hope we continue to share our funny moments and let's keep being happy with our embarrassing stories.
