Toochi had always looked for a beautiful lady that would become his lawfully wedded wife. He had been single for over thirty years. Fortunately, he found Jenny, a beautiful lady in her late twenties.
Their love story was an envy to everyone around Marwa metropolis. One sunny evening, she called Toochi and the following conversation ensued.
Toochi, I am on my to your place. Please, kindly make me anything you can lay your hands on. I very hungry.
Toochi was glad that Jenny will be visiting and this time, without being invited. She had never ce to Toochi's apartment without him inviting her. So, Toochi rushed to the kitchen to make noodles sauced with carrot and veggies with diced cow liver and fried eggs. He was elated and would do anything to welcome home the love of his life.
Then, after about twenty minutes that the food was prepared, a knock on the door woke Toochi's consciousness. He walked towards the door to welcome home his beautiful Jenny but it was his neighbour Ollah that was at the door.
Hey Ollah. How's your weekend going?
Toochi asked Ollah. He wasn't comfortable with the presence of Ollah because Jenny may walk in anytime.
Fine, Toochi. Can you give me a spoon of salt? I didn't remember to buy from the market.
Without hesitation, Toochi went into the kitchen and brought salt for Ollah and them shut the door to excuse Ollah. Sooner than Ollah left the door post, Jenny came around. She was starving.
Hi babe.
Toochi greeted her with open arms to welcome Jenny back home. Jenny rushed into the kitchen and met the pot of Noddles. She served it with two spoons and forks but all in one plate. She knew that it wasn't right to eat it alone. Toochi allowed her to eat the food in peace.
Jenny finished the food. She thanked Toochi for preparing such a nice meal for her. Her presence gave him a morale booster that he has found the one he would be settling down in marriage with.
Their relationship went on smoothly as Toochi started to consider proposing to Jenny. In the brink of this, the unimaginable happened.
One day, as Jenny returned from one, she was famished. And since Toochi's abode isn't far from her work place, she decided to call him as usual to prepare food for her.
He made semolina with Fish stew for her. The semolina were in three wraps. As soon as Jenny got to his place, she sat and started munch the semolina. Toochi only went inside the room and by the time he came, Jenny had finished eating two wraps of the semolina.
His countenance changed immediately. He did the semolina so that he would eat with her but she finished the wraps in less than twenty minutes.
Toochi has since refused to take Jenny's call. When I was contacted, Toochi asked me:
Is that how women of this day eat?
We have been here trying to settle the matter. What judgement would you give if this.matter was brought to you?
