I want to use this medium to appreciate 
I live in a Nigeria at the south west region in a state called Lagos popularly filled with the yoruba people.
I actually grew up here and have come to notice some of their beliefs which i will be stating here.
The yoruba myth

I had an encounter once where i wanted to fetch water at night and i was not allowed saying i will come to contact with evil spirits. I was so shocked 🤯 even as i tried connecting the dots but could not.
It really still shocks me till today how this belief stands it ground.

This is another belief that got me wondering. How will a child resemble you just because you crossed over his or father or mother while they were lying on the floor ?😂😂 funny right..
It is not even biologically correct.

This is another belief commonly known as you are warned even from childhood never to whistle at nigh as ghosts are making passages into realms and you may attract their presence.

I really keep rolling on the floor laughing at these beliefs even as they have no base knowledge or proof.
We were just warned to even believe in them and more i could not state here.
It is lovely to believe in what you know exists, but trust me my environment is fun to belong to.
