Yesterday featured the induction ceremony of our seniors who just passed their final year exam and it's always a cause for big celebration.
We that are yet to graduate are always happy to witness it, not because of anything else but you know.. foods and drinks plus jotters are always plenty, lol, not to talk of now that books are very expensive (Imagine I went to buy 40leaves and they told me #300 when I was with #150 because I bought last at #80 when I was in secondary school.)
It is this act of going from one celebration stand to another that we call wardround.. deriving the name from the actual wardround we do in the hospital.. it's a doctor's thing yunno, hehe
The day started bad actually but ended well, I will say, lol.....
The First Stand
We marched into the first stand and guess what?
The Dad is a pastor so he was doing the pastor's thing... Praying and calling down all the heavenly Angels and it wasn't looking as if the prayers were ending anytime soon.....
At a point, we were like, "we should leave here oh because we should be visiting other stands and getting goodies from them, moreover, who knows if there will be anything left when these whole angels the man is inviting visits, lol"
We ended up not getting anything because we couldn't stay till the end of the prayers
The Second Stand
This stand was okay for me but for my friend, he was unlucky, hehehe.
We came in and were served seats. The sister of the celebrant immediately started dishing out food for us but then, guess what?
It was remaining exactly 3 plates of rice and we were three? It's a good thing right?
Yes, that was what we thought too, but, not until the lady brought mine and one other and on getting to bring the 3rd plate, someone collected the food before she could reach to where we were seated, hehehe.
The other of my friend didn't even know what to say.. he was just watching us eat and couldn't join us because we were in public and he felt it's childish joining us, lol..
We kept telling him how nice the meats were and how sweet the fried rice tasted, lol
The Third Stand
This was an interesting stand for us because we got foods and drinks, but then, when it was time for jotters, the celebrant brought them out and boom! The students mounted on it like lions and scattered everything.
I didn't even get a jotter from this stand because I couldn't struggle, I was doing fresh boy, hehe
The Fourth Stand
Here, we entered and they immediately told us that the meats have finished... In our minds, we were like, "Ma, we are not here for the meats, give us food so atleast we will use it for dinner...by the way, we don't eat meats everyday, hehe."
We kept on going from one stand to another in this way, some stands gave us all but some stands had a lot of funny events that happened there.
It was indeed a wonderful comic event for us all.
Remember I told you books are now costly, so guess what I got the more?
Books , hehehe

Thanks for reading and have a nice Sunday.👍
