Esta es mi participación, en el Concurso, promovido por la comunidad Solo Escribe. Se trata de enaltecer la imagen de dos grandes de la Literatura Universal: Miguel de Cervantes, y Williams Shakespeare. En esta ocasión, escribí un soneto, que tiene que ver con la obra teatral de Williams Shakespeare, relacionado con el tema social y político de su época, la ambición, y su denuncia contra la corrupción y la monarquía. El protagonista es un país ubicado en muchas partes del mundo, al que se asoman vientos de esperanza.
Soneto para ti...
Dolor, ansiedad, e incertidumbre
Mi postura valiente resquebraja
¿Podré, acaso, llegar hasta tu cumbre?
Pues no deseo regresar en mi mortaja
Tu verdugo besará la podredumbre
Que merece todo aquel que ultraja
Como ave Fénix, saldrá la muchedumbre
Que inteligentemente lo aventaja
En mis sueños, te noto avasallante
Cada día, tu imagen atesoro
Aguerrido, luchador, alucinante
Devolverás su terruño al caminante
Con esta nueva esperanza imploro
Al verdugo, ¡destierro por farsante!

This is my participation in the Contest, promoted by the SoloEscribe community. The idea is to praise the image of two greats of Universal Literature: Miguel de Cervantes and Williams Shakespeare. On this occasion, I wrote a sonnet, which has to do with the theatrical work of Williams Shakespeare, related to the social and political theme of his time, ambition, and his denunciation of corruption and monarchy. The protagonist is a country located in many parts of the world, to which the winds of hope are blowing.

Pain, anxiety, and uncertainty
My brave stance cracks
Will I be able to reach your summit?
For I do not wish to return in my shroud
Your executioner will kiss the rottenness
That deserves all who outrage
Like a phoenix, the crowd will emerge
That intelligently outstrips him
In my dreams, I see you overpowering
Every day, I treasure your image
Fighting, fighting, hallucinating
You will return the wayfarer to his land
With this new hope I implore
To the executioner, I banish you as a faker!
