The vinyl buying pandemic continues. Plunging my financial situation into deeper despair. But hey, they're just worthless pieces of paper anyway right?...
It's interesting right now talking to people within the music industry, many have gone from earning thousands per week (I'm talking DJ's mainly) to virtually nothing, with no end in sight as the populace battle with the concept of the 'new normal', which at this point is more like the 'virtue signalling olympics'. It'll be interesting to see what the attendances are looking like once bands start touring again. I for one can't wait to get sweaty and lose my sh*t on the dance floor.
In the meantime it appears to be more important than ever to support musicians by buying their music, same goes for small and independent business and record stores who are hit the hardest (while the multinationals are bailed out with freshly printed bucks).
