Many things have happened this last year due to the pandemic, our lives saw changes in all senses, for some people these changes were radical while for others, as in my case, it does not represent much in some aspects, because I have always worked from home and been more time in it only allowed me to work more, but obviously the consequences of the crisis in my country affect me like everyone else and among them the most important is the lack of basic services.
Mi hijo yo superando el covid / My son I overcoming the covid
On the other hand, the covid has made my son stay at home all the time, he has not had schooling and this has been a difficult process, at first I made pictures and some didactic strategies, but the children's enthusiasm for learning Much is lost when they do not see their teachers and have no record with other children that like him are in the process of learning to read and write, my son has gone through many stages, from repeating the same lessons every day with enthusiasm Even not wanting to do anything, however I always seek to motivate him with the things he likes the most, this process of adaptation to being at home all the time is difficult because he was already a lonely child, he has no more contact than with his cousin who Sometimes he comes to visit him, but a few weeks ago my mother and I were sick with covid and he already has many days alone, his change is noticeable and now the Yellow cat has returned to be his best friend and his greatest entertainment, sometimesIt hurts a little to see him like this but I know that this little cat helps him a lot.

Now that I have started to work little by little with my fabrics, my son stands by my side and wants to draw or do anything to feel that he is also doing something, a few days ago my mother for the first time in years began to draw a Send it to a Hive contest here and my son wanted to do his as well and here I share the photo of both of you.

Before the pandemic my mother went out almost every day to buy food or any errand but since all this began we had organized ourselves to go out only what was necessary, I changed money from Hive monthly and accompanied her to do the shopping for a single day or two maximum, which means that we have more time at home, sometimes my mother gets a little bored but we have adapted well to our company but now that we are sick we had to ask my sister to do the shopping for us and she left the bags at In front of my house, we are quarantined because we do not want to infect anyone, although we certainly do not understand how we get infected, for the first time we feel real isolation, we cannot touch anyone in our family and we have to speak to them from the gate.

One of the things that I can say that I will remember is how from one day to the next my mother's routine and mine became the injection schedule to prevent damage to the lungs (Dexamethasone) after the injection we switched to the pills accompanied by vitamins, folic acid, vitamin D and vitamin C, all this added to the cough syrups, herbal teas and no cold food or drinks, I think the hardest thing was taking turns taking the injections, because although it was only a few days Doing it every 12 hours was intense and I honestly didn't like to make my mother suffer even though we both know how to inject well. This is only temporary and we are almost completely well, but I think that never in our life have we gotten sick at the same time and that is undoubtedly something that the Covid has brought us as a different experience, also as if that were not enough this week the husband of a great aunt, that is to say my mother's direct aunt in another city, his death was very sad because despite the efforts of his family to keep him safe he died in a Covid sentinel center, this news was not wanted to say to my mom so she wouldn't be scared but my mom is very strong and she just felt very sad for the loss.

The family is the most important thing and I feel that my aunts, despite not being able to be close, support us a lot, they call us, they are waiting for us, if we need to buy something we send them the money by transfer and they bring it to the gate, I feel that without family support no person can overcome the changes brought by the pandemic, the crisis in my country and even overcoming the disease if they become infected, I believe that families should unite more and only together can we get out of everything even if they have many people who are staying on the road and have not been able to overcome this disease, I know that no evil can last forever.
