We tried fishing during the major cold snap. We weren't very successful since we weren't in an ice breaker, but - fun was had in the shivery outdoors. If you look close, some of the rocks in the pictures are mid-air snaps. They were trying to punch holes in the ice we could fish in 🥶😄

It was also Caramel's first time at a frozen body of water and she was mildly curious, but mostly nope. It ended when Hive account@b34w0lf decided he was too cold to continue, which Hive account@freyamber agreed with. So, we walked back to the dance hall with empty hooks. Still fun though

This is on of the new reels I got for Christmas! I put it on my rod, but didn't use it until March (a few weeks ago) and broke it in. Love a new reel. Oh hey, and REMEMBER, there's always a bigger fish.
