сьогодні був чудовий суботній день, у більшості тому, що мені прийшли нові книжечки. Сьогоднішній пост хочу приділити конкретно одній. Про інші напишу вже в наступному пості.

Today was a great Saturday, mostly because I got new books. I want to dedicate today's post to one in particular. I will write about others in the next post.
Загалом, я люблю читати, хоча й роблю це не зовсім регулярно. Все залежить від настрою. Коли я їхала до Нідерландів, мене буквально "накрило" хвилею захоплення серією книг "Знаряддя смерті". За три дні я прочитала дві книги залпом. Після того як серія (5 частин) була закінчена, я нічого не брала до рук. А це більше двох тижнів. Та декілька днів тому згадала про книгу, яку вже давно хотіла купити. І от, вона у мене.
In general, I like to read, although I don't do it very regularly. It depends on the mood. When I was going to the Netherlands, I was literally "overwhelmed" by a wave of enthusiasm for the series of books "The Mortal Instruments". I read two books in one go in three days. After the series (5 parts) was finished, I did not take anything into my hands. And this is more than two weeks. But a few days ago, I remembered a book that I had wanted to buy for a long time. And now, I have it.

Jay Kristoff's "Nightlessness" has been "tearing up" Instagram, Tik-Tok, YouTube for a month...all book bloggers have this beauty.
Про цю книгу я знала ще з минулого року. Мені дуже сподобалась анотація та естетика історії, але от українського перекладу тоді ще не було.
Коли видавництво "Небо" анонсувало про вихід книги, я вже знала, що в мене вона теж буде.
I knew about this book since last year. I really liked the summary and aesthetics of the story, but there was no Ukrainian translation at that time.
When Nebo publishing house announced the publication of the book, I already knew that I would have it too.
Про що ж історія?
Ще зовсім юна Мія Корвере втрачає батька, а якщо точніше - його публічно страчують. Після цього дівчинка дає собі обіцянку помстится за нього. Мія вирішує стати асасинкою. І з цього моменту й зав'язується її історія.
Ця книга підкупила мене тим, що це не просте фентезі з черговою "обраною" героїнею, а темне фентезі, де купа моторошних, жорстоких сцен. Сама Мія теж не взірець для наслідування, але вона сильна та рішуча.
Я обожнюю атмосферу подібних історій, тому вже знаю, що мені сподобається.
What is the story about?
A very young Mia Corvere loses her father, or to be more precise - he is publicly executed. After that, the girl promises herself to take revenge for him. Miya decides to become an assassin. And from this moment her story begins.
This book bought me because it is not a simple fantasy with another "chosen" heroine, but a dark fantasy with a lot of creepy, cruel scenes. Mia herself is not a role model either, but she is strong and determined.
I love the atmosphere of stories like this, so I already know what I'm going to like.
Ну і головна родзинка цього видання - оформлення. Сама книга має дуже якісний друк та щільний жовтуватий папір, зручний для читання.
Well, the main highlight of this edition is the design. The book itself has very high-quality printing and thick yellowish paper, which is easy to read.
Ілюстрації - це теж щось неймовірне! Ще мені подобається, що тут є карта, яка розкладається.
Illustrations are also something incredible! I also like that there is a map that folds out.
Одним словом - краса. Я обожнюю видавництво "Небо" за те, що вони друкують не просто книги, а справжні витвори мистецтва.
Сподіваюся, найлижчим часом "Небо" буде частіше радувати нас новинками.
