Вчора, як завжди, читав різні новини і натрапив на одну цікаву статтю про океан. Мова, звісно, не про звичайний для нас океан, а про прихований, той що під ногами :)

Я, як фан всього екстраординарного і загадкового просто не міг пройти повз цієї новини.
Раніше було багато теорій що до того, що на значній глибині під поверхнею Землі присутні гігантські запаси води, але то були теорії. Зараз же, як стверджують вчені, з'явилися перші докази існування такого підземного океану.

Yesterday, as usual, I read various news and came across an interesting article about the ocean. Of course, we are not talking about the usual ocean for us, but about the hidden one, the one under our feet :)
As a fan of everything extraordinary and mysterious, I simply could not pass by this news.
Previously, there were many theories about the fact that at a considerable depth below the surface of the Earth there are gigantic reserves of water, but those were theories. Now, according to scientists, the first evidence of the existence of such an underground ocean has appeared.

Відкриття зробили вчені з університету Ґьоте, що у Франкфурті. За їх словами, під нашими ногами знаходиться настільки величезний океан, що його об'єм перевищує всі існуючі океані разом узяті в шість разів. Неймовірно! :)

The discovery was made by scientists from Goethe University in Frankfurt. According to them, under our feet is such a huge ocean that its volume exceeds all existing oceans combined six times. Unbelievable! :)

Зі слів співавтора дослідів Франка Бренкера, те що знаходиться під землею, не зовсім схоже на звичний для нашого ока і розуміння океан, це скоріш суміш різних відкладень і водовмісних порід, що знаходяться під величезним тиском. Все ж... там є вода! І її об'єм приголомшує!

Людство вивчає далекий космос, але в той же час ми й досі не розуміємо на якій планеті живемо. Тут ще стільки загадок, стільки невідкритого...
