Сьогодні, 25 січня, у президента України Володимира Зеленського День народження.
Щиро вітаю його з цим 45-річним ювілеєм! Бажаю міцного здоров’я!
Разом з тим, день сьогодні був тривожним. Повітряна тривога лунала чотири рази за день. Знаючи, як росіяни ненавидять нашого президента, то можна було очікувати ‘подарунків’ в вигляді ракетної атаки. Надіюсь, не наважаться і не зіпсують святковий настрій президенту та його прихильникам.
За 12 місяців Володимир Зеленський дуже змінився.
Ще рік тому він був усміхненим, ідеально поголеним та розповідав про свої досягнення на посаді.Зараз він носить бороду, зрідка усміхається і в його погляді стало менше безтурботності й гумору.
З початком повномасштабного вторгнення він перетворився на політика світового масштабу, президента держави, яка бореться за свободу і демократію.
Уже за перший місяць війни Зеленський не лише змінився зовні – постарів і втомився – відбулася і внутрішня трансформація: він почав діяти беззастережно та безкомпромісно на користь України та народу, кидаючи виклики всьому світу, який десятиліттями толерантно ставився до диктаторського режиму путіна.

However, today was a worrying day. The air raid alarm sounded four times a day. Knowing how the Russians hate our president, one could have expected "gifts" in the form of a missile attack. I hope they will not dare to spoil the festive mood of the president and his supporters.
Volodymyr Zelenskyi has changed a lot in 12 months.
Just a year ago, he was smiling, perfectly clean-shaven and talking about his achievements in office. Now he wears a beard, smiles occasionally and his look has become less carefree and humorous.
With the beginning of a full-scale invasion, he turned into a world-class politician, the president of a state that fights for freedom and democracy.
Already in the first month of the war, Zelenskyi not only changed externally - he grew old and tired - an internal transformation also took place: he began to act unconditionally and uncompromisingly for the benefit of Ukraine and the people, challenging the whole world, which for decades was tolerant of putin's dictatorial regime.
Президент прийняв виклик війни й кинув усі сили, щоб про звірства, які чинять окупанти, знали в кожній країні світу. Тож поки військові давали зрозуміти росіянам, хто така Україна, наш президент робив це на міжнародній арені.
Після виголошення промов Зеленському аплодували стоячи найвпливовіші люди світу. Багато хто не міг стримати сліз, а опісля виступи розбирали на цитати.
Я ніколи в житті не створював собі кумирів. Але мені здається, що на цьому історичному етапі , українцям повезло з президентом. І я радий, що це був також і мій вибір. Надіюсь,що у Володимира Зеленського вистачить сил і натхнення і після війни підтримувати такий же високий рівень міжнародної дипломатії. А також рішучості та сміливості при відбудові держави і реформуванні її інституцій.

The president accepted the challenge of the war and threw all his forces so that every country in the world knew about the atrocities committed by the occupiers. So while the military was letting the Russians know who Ukraine is, our president was doing it on the international stage.
After the speeches, Zelensky was given a standing ovation by the world's most influential people. Many could not hold back tears, and afterwards the speeches were dissected into quotes.
I have never created idols for myself in my life. But it seems to me that at this historical stage, Ukrainians are lucky with the president. And I am glad that it was also my choice. I hope that Volodymyr Zelenskyi will have enough strength and inspiration to maintain the same high level of international diplomacy after the war. As well as determination and courage in rebuilding the state and reforming its institutions.
