Я думав, що з початком нового року, життя відразу почне змінюватись. Нові відчуття, ідеї, проекти, думки. Але, певно, щось не складається. Вже пройшло два дні 2023 року, а я все ще доробляю те, що розпочав в минулому році. Знову ремонт мого улюбленого раритетного автомобіля.
I thought that with the beginning of the new year, life would immediately begin to change. New feelings, ideas, projects, thoughts. But, probably, something is not right. It's already two days into 2023, and I'm still finishing what I started last year. Repairing my favorite rare car again.
Цього разу я вирішив відремонтувати газовий редуктор. Добре, що на вулиці тепло, тому гріх не скористатись такою нагодою. Вирішив я взятись за цю роботу по банальній причині - витрати палива майже вдвічі перевищують норму.
Я вперше робив цю роботу, тому не був впевнений, що після мого втручання в цей механізм, щось взагалі буде працювати. Але я добре підготувався, передивився безліч відео, як і що робити, і ризикнув.
This time I decided to repair the gas reducer. It's good that it's warm outside, so it's a sin not to take advantage of such an opportunity. I decided to take up this work for a banal reason - fuel consumption is almost twice the norm.
It was the first time I did this work, so I was not sure that after my intervention in this mechanism, anything would work at all. But I prepared well, watched many videos on how and what to do, and took a risk.
Насправді, нічого складного нема, якщо є відповідний інструмент і ремонтний комплект.
З інструментом у мене не все було добре, тому відкручувати гвинти довелось чим доведеться. Роботу я виконав, редуктор вже встановлено на автомобіль, авто навіть завелось. Залишилось лише виконати регулювання, але я поки що не вмію цього робити.
А святкового настрою у мене нема. Поки «грався» своїми залізяками, постійно лунали вибухи. В сусідній громаді сапери розміновували територію. З голови цілий день не виходять сумні враження від ракетних атак дві ночі поспіль.
З позитивних вражень від святкування Нового року- промова Президента України і цілодобова наявність світла. Все інше – дуже похмуро. Дуже вже хочеться, щоб швидше здійснилось моє новорічне бажання.

I was not all right with the tool, so I had to unscrew the screws. I did the work, the gearbox is already installed on the car, the car even started. All that remains is to make the adjustment, but I don't know how to do it yet.
And I'm not in a festive mood. While he was "playing" with his irons, there were constant explosions. Sappers were demining the territory in the neighboring community. Sad impressions of rocket attacks two nights in a row do not leave my head all day long.
Among the positive impressions from the New Year's celebration are the speech of the President of Ukraine and the 24-hour availability of light. Everything else is very gloomy. I really want my New Year's wish to come true as soon as possible.
