Про візит Зеленського до Вашингтону стало відомо лише за декілька годин до приземлення його літака. Перед цим він побував у Бахмуті – місті, яке стало центром військових дій та протистояння ЗСУ ворожій армії. На цей напрямок противник кинув найсильніші та найдосвідченіші підрозділи, які, тим не менш, потерпіли поразку. Число загиблих окупантів в боях за Бахмут ніхто не називає. Вважається, що варто рахувати не однією сотнею.

Це інвестиції у глобальну безпеку і демократію, якими ми розпоряджаємося найбільш відповідально”. Дійсно, кожен американець повинен розуміти, що його податки та ресурси його країни витрачаються не даремно. Від цього залежить життя не лише Європи, а й світу в цілому. Україна ж, платить найвищу ціну серед усіх – кров’ю власних синів і дочок.

Дуже символічною була передача Конгресу США прапору з Бахмуту. Це був доказ того, що наша армія сильна і боєздатна, що вона здатна тримати оборону і захищати, а маючи потрібну зброю, ще й іти у наступ. Цей прапор символізує незламність українських людей та бажання перемогти.
