Якось до цього часу мені не доводилося самостійно закуповуватися в місцевих магазинах. Я, звичайно ж, не рахую тих випадків, коли просто забігала до супермаркету взяти воду чи якусь іншу дрібницю. Ще й досі я розгублююся між виликими полицями, заповненими незнайомими продуктами. До всього, я ще не позбулася звички переводити всі ціни в гривні. Інколи після таких конвертацій і їсти вже не хочеться... Але буває, що дивуюся, бо вартість дорівнює вартості в Україні чи навіть трішки дешевше. В основному, це стосується акційних товарів.
Тут є базари, що працюють в деякі дні тижня. Після обіду там реально знижуюють ціну. Для прикладу, 2 упаковки йогурту активіа (8 баночок) можна придбати за 1 євро ( 40 гривень). Або ж 3 пакунки салату (оливки, сир фета, міні перчики та приправи з оливковою олією) теж за 1 євро.

Somehow, until now, I have never had to shop at local stores on my own. Of course, I'm not counting the times I've just popped into a supermarket to pick up water or some other small item. I still get confused between the shelves filled with unfamiliar products. To top it all off, I haven't yet gotten rid of the habit of converting all prices into hryvnias. Sometimes after such conversions, I don't even feel like eating anymore... But sometimes I am surprised because the price is equal to the price in Ukraine or even a little cheaper. This mainly concerns promotional goods.
There are markets here that work on some days of the week. In the afternoon, they really reduce the price. For example, 2 packs of Activia yoghurt (8 jars) can be bought for 1 euro (40 hryvnias). Or 3 packs of salad (olives, feta cheese, mini peppers and seasonings with olive oil) for 1 euro.
Сьогодні чоловік цілий день на роботі. У вихідні дні тут скорочений графік у магазинах. Я вирішила сама з'їздити за продуктами. Скажу, що ця справа поки реально для мене складна. Я не знаю торгових марок, не розумію чи не завищена ціна і чи можна знайти дешевше.
З приправами теж ціла біда. Кожну упаковку доводилося перекладати, щоб зрозуміти, що в складі. Хотіла придбати ваніль чи ванільну есенцію, але так її і не знайшла.
Обмежила сьогоднішній шопінг найнеобхіднішим: хліб, картопля, помідори, грецький йогурт та спагетті. За все виклала 9 євро. Зараз намагаюся не рахувати скільки б це коштувало вдома.
Today my husband is at work all day. On weekends, the shops here have shorter hours. I decided to go grocery shopping myself. I must say that this is still a really difficult task for me. I don't know the brands, I don't understand whether the price is too high or whether it is possible to find something cheaper.
Seasonings are also a problem. I had to translate each package to understand what was in it. I wanted to buy vanilla or vanilla essence, but I never found it.
I limited today's shopping to the essentials: bread, potatoes, tomatoes, Greek yoghurt and spaghetti. I spent 9 euros for everything. Now I'm trying not to think about how much it would have cost at home.
