Перші дні ми не могли усвідомити що це затягнеться надовго .
Я виїжджала на авто за продуктами, ходила за питною водою під гучні вибухи ,кожного вечора ми завмирали в коридорі.
The first days we could not realize that it would take a long time.
I drove to the grocery store, went for drinking water under loud explosions, every night we froze in the hallway.
Через чотири дні я зрозуміла що виходити і виїжджати дуже небезпечно і ми засіли вдома.
Ми були на постійному зв'язку з сусідами вони кликали нас до підвалу але ми враховуючи стан дітей не могли туди спуститися.
Four days later I realized that going out was very dangerous and we stayed at home.
We were in constant contact with the neighbors they called us to the basement but we can't because of condition of the children.
Також нам дуже допомагали друзі, давали безкоштовно хліб , тушковане м'ясо, допомагали з питною водою.
А потім вже дуже близько біля мого дому пролунали потужні вибухи і я перестала виходити на вулицю.
Our friends also helped us a lot, gave us free bread, stews, and helped us with drinking water.
And then very close to my house there were powerful explosions and I stopped going outside.
Від кожного звуку ми ховалися в коридорі, неможливо було навіть доїсти щось, бо літаки ,ракети і бомби літали в день і в ночі. Тому ми кидали їжу і бігли у сховище.
Я знов почала курити бо то все витримати було неможливо.
From every sound we hid in the corridor, it was impossible to even get something because of planes, rockets and bombs which flew all days and nights. So we threw away our food and ran to the shelter.
I started smoking again because it was impossible to endure it all.
Ми спали у купочці в коридорі і з кожним днем становище наше було все гірше й гірше.
На 9 день до мене прийшов сусід який служить у ДСНС ( служба порятунку) і сказав мені що євакуюють родини військових. І щоб я негайно у ту саму хвилину збирала речі, брала дітей, сідала у автомобіль і їхала як умога далі.
We slept in a group in the corridor and every day our situation was getting worse and worse.
On the 9th day, a neighbor who serves in the SES (rescue service) came to me and told me that military families were being evacuated. And thats why I immediately start to collect things, take the children, get in the car and go as far as possible.
Я повернулася додому ми метушливо зібрали речі і протягом однієї години сіли в машину вирушивши на Полтаву.
Там нас вже чекали і дали нам тимчасовий прихисток.
Дорога до Полтави яка займає звичайно дві години зайняла в нас вісім годин часу.
Я вперше за 5 днів виїхала на автівці до міста і ми жахалися увесь час.
Дорога була дуже побита Градами, впродовж усього шляху стояли обгорілі автівки, зруйновані будівлі.
Таким я не бачила своє місто ніколи. На очах стояли сльози але ми продовжували нашу подорож.
I returned home, we frantically packed our things and got into the car for one hour, leaving for Poltava.
They were already waiting for us there and gave us temporary shelter.
The road to Poltava, which usually takes two hours, took us eight hours.
For the first time in 5 days I drove to the city and we were terrified all the time.
The road was badly beaten by hail, all along the way there were burnt cars, destroyed buildings.
I have never seen my city like this. There were tears in my eyes but we continued our journey
Бо то була наша місія, потрібно було вивезти дітей у безпеку.
Враховуючи те що останні 9 діб я практично не спала, ця дорога була дуже важкою для мене.
Боліла спина, дуже хотілося їсти, діти дуже втомилися від того всього і постійно нудьгу вали. Питали коли ми вже нарешті приїдемо але я нічого не могла їм сказати. Я сама не знала як і коли ми вже потрапимо до місця в якому буде спокій.
Because that was our mission, we had to take the children to safety.
Considering that I haven't slept for the last 9 days, this road was very difficult for me.
My back hurt, I really wanted to eat, the children were very tired of it all and were constantly bored. They asked when we would finally arrive but I couldn't tell them anything. I did not know how and when we will get to a place where there will be peace.
