I was looking in #ProductHunt a project that exists to block traffic from #Russia to a website. It basically puts a code on your website, and it is no longer accessible to Russia.
I see this, and I'm seeing my own situation as Cuban. In #Cuba there is a dictatorship as everybody knows, and I see this "403" many times every day. The dictatorship doesn't care about it, they have the power over us, they have the weapons, they have the money, they have everything. At the end, we are the most affected, the common people who don't have access to platforms that could benefit and empower us.
Yes, under the same logic of Redirect Russia we don't have access to #PayPal, #Stripe, #Amazon, #GitHub, #Binance, #Shopify, etc. Even #Spotify, #Netflix, and #TikTok are blocked for us. We can't pay on Play Store, we can't download anything on App Store… we are not citizens on the internet, we are nobodies. We only can use #VPN to have some access to these platforms but if PayPal (example) detects that we are accessing from Cuba they block our funds, and we lost the money. Is it fair?
I support Ukraine People, and my heart is broken with this f**ing #war, but this is not ok.
