Привіт! У грудні 2021 року фінансовий регулятор України представив монету під назвою Агатангел Кримський, що присвячена українському історику та мовознавцю. Монета вагою 12.8 г має розмір 31 мм. Тираж складає 35 тисяч.
Монета Агатангел Кримський входить в серію “Видатні особистості України”. Народився історик на Волині. Про себе він писав: “Хоч я родом не вкраїнець, але цілком проукраїнився. Агатангел Кримський — це дійсно унікальна людина. Він знав понад півсотні мов! Після себе історик, письменник, вчений залишив багату спадщину у вигляді наукових праць. В списку автора сотні праць, значна частина яких присвячена арабським культурам. Як і більшість українських діячів культури, Кримський зазнавав тиску з боку радянської влади, а у 1941 був заарештований та ув'язнений. Помер у 1942 році.

Монета введена в обіг у грудні 2021 року. Ціна регулятора була встановлена на рівні 35 гривень (45 фактична). Станом на початок вересня 2023 року монету продають на ОЛХ за ціною від 70 до 120 гривень.
Реверс. Ця сторона монети з рифленим гуртом нанесено портрет мовознавця, а вертикальні лінії нагадують про його ув'язнення. Нижче викарбувано ім'я та прізвище, роки життя.
Лицьова сторона виробу з нейзильберу. Тут зображено символ, що вказує на основну сферу діяльності вченого. В центрі геометричного узору викарбувані відомі слова Агатангела Юхимовича. Під висловом нанесено факсиміле. У верхній частині зображено Герб, напис Україна, рік введення в обіг, номінал. Логотип МД розташований в нижній частині монети.

Agathangel of Crimea: 2 hryvnia coin, nickel silver, 2021
Hello! In December 2021, the financial regulator of Ukraine presented a coin called Agatangel Crimean, dedicated to the Ukrainian historian and linguist. The coin weighs 12.8 g and has a size of 31 mm. Circulation is 35,000.
The Agatangel Krymskyi coin is part of the "Outstanding Personalities of Ukraine" series. The historian was born in Volyn. He wrote about himself: "Although I am not Ukrainian by birth, I have completely become Ukrainian. Agathangel Krymskyi is a truly unique person. He knew more than fifty languages! After himself, the historian, writer, scientist left a rich legacy in the form of scientific works. The author's list includes hundreds of works, a large part of which is devoted to Arab cultures. Like most Ukrainian cultural figures, Krymsky was under pressure from the Soviet authorities, and in 1941 he was arrested and imprisoned. Died in 1942.

The coin entered circulation in December 2021. The price of the regulator was set at 35 hryvnias (45 actual). As of the beginning of September 2023, the coin is being sold on the OLH at a price from 70 to 120 hryvnias.
Reverse. This side of the coin with a fluted band bears a portrait of the linguist, and vertical lines remind of his imprisonment. Name and surname, years of life are engraved below.
The front side of the product is made of nickel silver. Here is a symbol indicating the scientist's main field of activity. In the center of the geometric pattern, the famous words of Agatangel Yukhimovych are engraved. A facsimile is printed below the statement. The upper part depicts the Coat of Arms, the inscription Ukraine, the year of introduction into circulation, the denomination. The MD logo is located at the bottom of the coin.
