Привіт! В столиці України є два римсько-католицьких костьолу й один з них небезпідставно вважається однією з прикрас, найкрасивіших пам'яток міста. Це костьол святого Миколая побудований близько 120 років тому. Йому присвячена монета зі срібла 925 проби номіналом 10 гривень.
Вага виробу 31.1 г, а розмір — 32 мм. Фактичний тираж складає всього лише 3 тисячі штук.
Монета 2016 року реалізувалась фінансовим регулятором за офіційною ціною 1082 гривні. У 2023 році її можна придбати на багатьох майданчиках за ціною приблизно 3700 гривень. Для допису “Костьол святого Миколая, серія “Пам'ятки архітектури України”: срібло, номінал 10 гривень, 2016 рік” використано дві світлини з офіційного сайту Національного банку України.
Важко повірити, що надзвичайно гарна споруда кілька десятиліть (з 30-х по 78) при радянській владі використовувалась як господарське приміщення. У 2021 році в приміщені сталася пожежа. Дотепер проводяться реставраційні роботи й проводиться збір коштів на відновлення унікальної архітектурної споруди.
Реверс. З цього боку по колу викарбувана назва костьолу. Основну частину займає зображення архітектурної споруди.
Лицьова сторона. В центральній частині виробу зі срібла 925 проби нанесено фрагмент інтер'єру. По обидва боки від нього викарбувано номінал (у правій частині) та напис Україна й Герб (зліва). Рік введення в обіг нанесено в нижній частині. Монета має гладкий гурт.

It is hard to believe that an extremely beautiful building was used as a utility room for several decades (from the 1930s to the 1978s) under Soviet rule. In 2021, a fire broke out in the premises. Until now, restoration works are being carried out and funds are being collected for the restoration of the unique architectural structure.
Reverse. On this side, the name of the church is engraved in a circle. The main part is occupied by the image of the architectural structure.
Front side. A fragment of the interior is applied to the central part of the 925 silver product. The denomination (on the right side) and the inscription Ukraine and Coat of Arms (on the left) are engraved on both sides of it. The year of introduction into circulation is indicated in the lower part. The coin has a smooth band.
