Привіт! Зупинимося на монеті 2016 року виготовлення. Варто зазначити, що монета з такою ж назвою була введена в обіг у 2006 році (тираж 45 тисяч). Цей виріб з нейзильберу також виготовлений з нейзильберу й присвячений 140 річниці від дня народження Грушевського. Ще одна монета присвячена Грушевському виготовлена у 1996 році. Цей виріб з мельхіору випущений тиражем 75 тисяч штук.
Монета 2016 року виготовлена тиражем 25 тисяч штук. Вага 12.8 г, а розмір — 31 мм. У 2023 вартість її складає понад 500 гривень. На дату введення в обіг виріб реалізувався за ціною 30 гривень. Для допису “Михайло Грушевський: 2016 рік, нейзильбер, номінал 2 гривні. Серія “Видатні особистості України” запозичено дві світлини зі сторінки національного фінансового регулятора України.
Михайло Грушевський відомий вчений, історик, політик. Він обіймав посаду Голови Центральної Ради УНР. Іноді його називають першим Президентом України, хоча насправді в той час на території країни такої посади не було. В цілому ж, ці посади були та залишаються тотожними.
Реверс. У верхній частині нанесено ім'я та прізвище видатного діяча, а нижче — роки життя. Нижче зображений Михайло Грушевський, а, враховуючи його наукову діяльність, поруч розташована полиця з підручниками.
Лицьова сторона. На аверсі зображений перший Голова УЦРУНР разом з військовими. В нижній частині вказано номінал, а зверху — національні символи. Трішки нижче (справа) вказано рік карбування та нанесено лого монетного двору України. Монета має рифлений гурт.
