Привіт! Україна багата на таланти, але багатьох видатних людей ми не знаємо, а про деяких взагалі й не чули. Наприклад, я ніколи не чув про Олексія Погорєлова, видатного українського радянського математика, діяча науки. Монета присвячена академіку й виготовлена улітку 2019 року. Виріб з нейзильберу важить 12.8 г, а діаметр складає 31 мм.
Погорєлов Олексій Васильович народився в 1919 році на території Бєлгородської області. Практично все своє життя працював в Харкові, де й займався науковою діяльністю. В честь його імені названий астероїд, одна з вулиць Харкова та введена в обіг пам'ятна монета з нейзильберу.
Світлини монети Олексій Погорєлов використані з офіційного сайту Національного банку України. Монета на дату введення в обіг коштувала 41 гривню (50 фактична вартість). Ціна станом на сьогодні дуже різниться: від 85 до 200 гривень (ОЛХ). Загальний тираж виробу складає 35 тисяч штук.
Реверс. Центральну частину цієї сторони займає портрет академіка, а також вказано його ім'я, прізвище та роки життя. У лівій частині нанесено символічне зображення наукових досліджень, що вказує на сферу діяльності вченого.
Лицьова сторона. Тут викарбувано стандартні для українських монет елементи: логотип МД, номінал, рік випуску. Назва фінансового регулятора нанесена по колу. Основну частину монети Олексій Погорєлов займає гвинтова мінімальна поверхня, що називається гелікоїд. Виріб з нейзильберу має рифлений гурт.

For example, I have never heard of Oleksiy Pogorelov, an outstanding Ukrainian Soviet mathematician and scientist. The coin is dedicated to the academician and was produced in the summer of 2019. The nickel silver product weighs 12.8 g, and the diameter is 31 mm.
Pogorelov Oleksiy Vasyliovych was born in 1919 in the Belgorod region. Practically all his life he worked in Kharkiv, where he was engaged in scientific activities. An asteroid, one of the streets of Kharkiv, and a commemorative nickel silver coin were put into circulation in his honor.
Photos of the coin of Oleksii Pogorelov are used from the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine. The coin was worth 41 hryvnias (50 actual value) on the date of introduction into circulation. As of today, the price varies greatly: from 85 to 200 hryvnias (OLH). The total circulation of the product is 35 thousand pieces.
Reverse. The central part of this page is occupied by the academician's portrait, as well as his name, surname and years of life. In the left part, there is a symbolic image of scientific research, which indicates the field of activity of the scientist.

The main part of the Oleksiy Pogorelov coin is occupied by a spiral minimum surface, called a helicoid. The nickel silver product has a grooved band.
