Привіт! Монета номіналом 2 гривні представлена у 2018 році й присвячена відомому вишу — Таврійському університету. Нині навчальний заклад знаходиться в столиці України.
Виріб з нейзильберу має діаметр 31 мм та важить 12.8 г. Монета з рифленим гуртом випущена тиражем 30 тисяч штук. Початкова ціна на момент введення в обіг складала 40 гривень. Нині вартість на різних майданчиках суттєво різниться. На розпродажах її можна придбати за ціною близько 150 гривень, але частіше продавці тримають ціну на рівні близько 260 гривень. Обидві світлини монети, присвяченої 100-річчю Таврійського університету використані з офіційного сайту національного фінансового регулятора України.
Присвячена монета вишу в Криму, що був заснований у 1918 році. З 2015 року навчальний заклад переїхав до Києва, де продовжує навчати студентів.
Реверс. По колу викарбувано назву навчального закладу (в нижній частині — “імені В.І. Вернадського”). Центральну частину виробу займає будівля театру, де й відбулося відкриття вишу у жовтні 1918 року. Про це нагадує й дата, нанесена у лівій частині від будівлі. У правій частині викарбувано портрет Вернадського. У нижній частині композиції нанесено напис 100 років.
Лицьова сторона. Основну частину аверсу займає лого вишу. У лівій частині логотипа нанесено рік заснування, справа — дату введення монети в обіг. Номінал вказано в нижній частині, а зверху зображено напис Україна та нанесено Герб. Лого МД розташований справа.

Hello! The 2-hryvnia coin was introduced in 2018 and is dedicated to the famous university — Tavri University. Currently, the educational institution is located in the capital of Ukraine.
The nickel silver product has a diameter of 31 mm and weighs 12.8 g. The coin with a fluted band was issued in an edition of 30,000 pieces. The initial price at the time of introduction into circulation was 40 hryvnias. Currently, the cost on different sites varies significantly. At sales, it can be purchased at a price of about 150 hryvnias, but more often sellers keep the price at the level of about 260 hryvnias. Both photos of the coin dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Tavria University used from the official website of the National Financial Regulator of Ukraine.
The coin is dedicated to the higher authority in Crimea, which was founded in 1918. Since 2015, the educational institution has moved to Kyiv, where it continues to educate students.
Reverse. The name of the educational institution is engraved around the circle (in the lower part - "the name of V.I. Vernadskyi"). The central part of the work is occupied by the theater building, where the opening of the university took place in October 1918. The date inscribed on the left side of the building also reminds us of this. In the right part, a portrait of Vernadskyi is engraved. In the lower part of the composition there is an inscription of 100 years.
Front side. The main part of the obverse is occupied by the higher logo. On the left side of the logo is the year of establishment, on the right is the date of introduction of the coin into circulation. The denomination is indicated in the lower part, and the inscription Ukraine is depicted on top and the Coat of Arms is applied. The MD logo is located on the right.
